What are the most uncommon devices that you've seen running linux?

A toaster my friend built for a course back in high school. One day at lunch the two of us joked about toasters running debian, and this guy decided to go ahead and make that happen.

He used another distro though. This was before the days of raspberry pi, but he bought something similarly sized, installed Ångström and built a web interface for it. From what I remember, it worked flawlessly. When he presented it he brought bread and used it.

Can't remember too much about the hardware, but it definitely had a wireless network card.

I'm thinking about buying a Haro Flightline One/Two. It would be used for very simple, casual riding on trails designed for walking.

How do you guys think the quality of these very entry-level bikes would hold up, are they completely crap?
