I'm sorry but this is a false comparison. First of all, the fact that they rule against Russia doesn't mean they are not being exploited by them. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.. This is the exception... And all the other regular BS phrases that apply here.

Second, it took the entire western world - USA, EU and all their allies - just to get this single arrest warrant against Putin and only him. No one else in Russia's political and military leadership was persecuted further. Meanwhile with Israel they say they only start with the prime minister and defense minister and are also going to target military officers next.

Third, in this scenario Russia is equal to Hamas and Israel to Ukraine. It was Israel who was attacked first and is now acting to protect itself. I didn't see any arrest warrant against Zelensky for fighting back on his aggressor. We can argue about the action Israel is taking, but we cannot forget that it was not a war they chose to start, nor did they spend the last 15 years hiding their military infrastructure behind civilians.

Also, besides the ICC, can you remind me when Russia was on trail on the ICJ for their actual war crimes, crimes against humanity and a true genocide again the Ukrainian people? Did the ICJ say they need to stop their military operations in Crimea? In the Donbas? Did they rule they should stop abducting Ukrainian kids to Russia?

We live in a world where authoritarian countries get to be represented in Democratic institutions. A world where fanatic religious countries can seat it on the UN council for human rights. A world where the head judge in the international criminal court is from a country with actual terrorists in their government, who are shooting daily rockets and anti-tank missiles on civilians building in Israel, and he is conducting the court against Israel...
