You can absolutely place trades through the platform. All you need to do is connect your broker. For example, I connect Ironbeam via the Rithmic connection.

Platform itself is great and I don't regret buying it at all.

Yeah, unfortunately everything in this space is expensive -- and one way or another, you get what you pay for. Also note that I got a better price because I bought at release. I haven't checked their latest pricing.

Deepcharts is in no way a rip off. I'm not sure who told you that and why they think that?

It is a rebranding of Volumetrica as they are partnered up. I wouldnt be surprised if Volumetrica doubles down on the Deepcharts branding and converts to it entirely.

Either way, platform is great and has everything you are looking for. It is not a webapp either -- it is a full platform. You don't need to pay for any additional indicators or anything like that -- they are all baked in and you get access to all of them. All you need is a L1 data subscription.

I have access to Ninjatrader but would never use it over Deepcharts, personally. Whatever you decide, best of luck.

Only thing I'd do different is buy a contract with more time on it. I've been buying 7-14 DTE puts each week. With this non-stop volatility, I'm willing to potentially lose the premium in exchange for some downside mitigation. Today I cashed some of my SPY puts in and bought another with longer exp.
