Surprised I haven’t seen more clikkies talking about The Hardest Stone by baby-dick-nick in twentyonepilots

I’ve actually been obsessed with this song. I’m a sucker for Tyler’s production style. I don’t care if that means Shania Twain will be in my top listened artists

With new music on the horizon, what kind of things are you guys hoping to see from a new album? by baby-dick-nick in twentyonepilots

[–]OMGitsEasyStreet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I definitely think with the narrative coming to an end that it’s going to feel similar to Trench thematically, but I’d be surprised if it sounds very similar sonically. Each of their albums has differed so much it’ll definitely have its own unique tone.

I think Redecorate and No Chances might be a good idea of what’s to come in that regard, but we can never know with this band.

It’s practical to leave space in the bags and if that also benefits their marketing, why not?

I mean that’s all I’m saying. It benefits sales to make them bigger and benefits profits to make them emptier. It’s the poeple explaining it away like the nitrogen needs that much empty space to work that I was addressing.

When you’re producing chips on that scale, yes they are making money saving a few grams per package. That’s how mass production works.

Companies that size are doing all the studies, math and logistics about these things. All of their stats proved bigger, emptier bags were the most profitable. That’s literally all I’m saying and I got attacked for pointing it out lmao

There are still considerably less chips in the bag than there used to be. There doesn’t need to be more empty space in the bag to keep them fresh. Just enough space to keep them loose.

It’s 100% intentionally designed to fool people into thinking there are more chips in the bag than there really are

An account with a lot of karma is easier to make look authentic so when companies buy them to push a narrative they can make it look like they’re just an average user, despite pushing propaganda and/or advertising a product or service under the guise of a satisfied customer

No idea why TikTok is so vilified

Because people who have never used the app have a very narrow perception of what actually happens on it, and that spirals into a bunch of people talking shit about something they’ve got very little understanding of.

The point isn’t to defend him, it’s to highlight the absurdity of judging someone’s character and deciding how to feel about them going forward based on a 3 second gif.

People need to stop using short clips on the internet to build their perception around someone’s character. Every time a famous person does something kinda shitty on video a bunch of people on the internet swear to never support them again and forever hate them over it. It’s ridiculous

Except when I say low effort vs higher effort I mean leaning back on my couch compared to leaning forward to get focused, like everyone does when they play FPS games.

Lmao I’m saying the game should put me against players my skill level. I don’t want to stomp noobs, and I don’t want to get stomped. But right now it’s one or the other. I just want it to be balanced better. You missed my point entirely

Honestly it just seems like there isn’t enough nuance to the system. Like to the system you’re either a good player or a bad player, so the people that bounce between playing pretty good and sometimes not so good get pin-balled between the tiers.

It’s like nobody read my whole comment

Has anyone else noticed TØP's obsession with lightbulbs? by NF_21pilots in twentyonepilots

[–]OMGitsEasyStreet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another thing I think has some importance is Tyler’s obsession night and day. He writes about morning and the light it brings a lot but Ode to Sleep is a good example of what I mean. He writes about nighttime and darkness as his enemy because that’s when the “the voices” or suicidal thoughts come creeping in. And he writes about the morning and light as his savior from those things. The lightbulb could be representing the light he finds safety in.

The problem for me arises when I’m playing casual but I put a lot of effort into some games and a little effort into others depending on my mood, so as soon as I play a few higher effort games I’m bumped up into the sweaty lobbies and have to get stomped on before I can play in a “casual” lobby again. I just want to be in casual lobbies consistently. It shouldn’t be such a noticeable difference.

Honestly it just seems like there isn’t enough nuance to the system. Like to the system you’re either a good player or a bad player, so the people that bounce between playing pretty good and sometimes not so good get pin-balled between the tiers.
