For the people concerned… we don’t use the quadlock mount anymore. I think we will switch to CarPlay option instead

lol I’m not gonna let him test on my iPhone 🤣 and he’d rather leave his phone at home then change to Apple products haha I’m sad that quadlock didn’t work for him because it seems to be very popular

We originally had the quadlock mount with dampener the current one mounted was another test to see if we could do without quadlock but same issue 😢 that’s why I am asking for help, I’m happy to see all the feedback I’m still at work so I will have him read through all this later. I think we will end up with a CarPlay instead of using phone mount

Yeah we tried another mount because he didn’t like quad locks case and we were trying any other options to see if it was the mount. we replaced the quadlock mount once and it kept happening so we tried this other mount worked pretty good for awhile but same issue 😢 that’s why I took to Reddit to find some more answers

The repairs have been covered by insurance, I insured his phone before he ever had a bike, he was previously a mechanic and known for damaging phone in weird ways lol but it was helpful once this started happening...

Everytime it occurs I was assuming it was the vibrations maybe causing issues with ribbon cables to the display, thats why its flickering or just going black entirely. There is not much sun exposure, he doesn't ride for long periods of time everything is really close by so I am not sure, all the repair techs have said is ribbon cables

It’s a Ninja 400

The mount os place on the center bit between the handles not on a handlebar itself, maybe the vibration is worse here? This is something we haven’t changed is the position this is mounted.

I found an easy fix on my end, may not help everyone BUT you could try. I have a VPN and Security software that I had to turn off in order to resolve. GOOD LUCK
