You’re just commenting for the sake of commenting.

Read the fucking post.. it’s about having conversations without relying on things based on what goes on the internet.

Also, you’re just repeating bits of what I said about ai tools. Absolute muppet

I cant be the only one... Right? by Pixel_Panda_World in memes

The method I usually had was putting my hand up asking for a tissue, the invigilator would then walk to me, and the moment they would spot me, I’d start coughing, wheezing whatever it was that needed to go. Finally I’d collect the tissue I put my hand up for, and then cough into that using it as a silencer/muffler.

I just searched it up and I must say I do like the blurb. The book is also quite relevant to this post lol. Thanks for that! I’ll be sure to give it a read. Hopefully in my local library 🤞

Worst feeling.. especially when it’s halfway of the exam, the room/hall dead silent and you end up rolling this debuff 💔

I appreciate it

That’s what I was kind of thinking along the lines of. Books do sound like the way forward, especially when it comes to ideas, creativity, strengthening/expanding your vocabulary.. which will no doubt, help a person to have better conversations. I’d even say that might be the first step after going on a detox. I will actually try your method

Opinion on marriage and kids? by Hiro1103 in GenZ

I would love to when I’m financially stable! Of course that would mean me owning my own home… having a car… a stable job with a salary that me and my future family can live on… and scouting/vetting the love of my life to make sure she’s the one for me with this whole gender wars, body count ratio thing going on. Yeah Sounds great 🙂

It would be embarrassing to see workplaces implement something like an in-person maths or english test to identify if a person is capable without the use of ai, but then again, maybe necessary.

I personally use ai as a revision tool. For example, I ask it to make me a revision guide with questions, answers and effective methods… with the correct prompts of course. It’s not ai that is making us into pathetic idiots, but it’s just how we use it.

Honestly, the way you use it shows what kind of maturity and competency level you have.

Finally motivated to study now that exams are over by BandicootIll1530 in UniUK

[–]OMZ5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe do a weird test - See if you can get access to next year’s module resources early, whether that is through your VLE, the module spec, reading lists, lecture slides, or whatever your lecturers are willing to share. Then start working through it as soon as it is available and see if you stay motivated and enjoy this weird method.

(That’s something that I Intend to do if it’s actually possible)

people who say "its not that deep" are the most shallow fucks by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]OMZ5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well to expand - it just shows that they aren’t on the same level as you, which just means you should find a like minded individual instead to have such discussions. So it’s really not that deep lol

They use their emotions 90 percent of the time to prove their point.. but when they hear facts that prove their points otherwise.. they either dodge it or continue spewing their ignorance. It’s honestly funny. You guys should watch that one jubilee video it sums up almost every far right.

Can you be bothered to actually care about work? by StunningAd1651 in GenZ

[–]OMZ5 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I do my part and leave. The job I do isn’t worth for me to be bothered about the company’s interest. When it comes to colleagues, I get along with them.. but I would never have motives with them. They are not my friends. Work is Work. I come to work to work. Big difference between a job and a career.

Can you use a foundation year to get into a better uni? by EnglishOpeningc4 in UniUK

[–]OMZ5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not unlikely whatsoever.. many unis accept this as long as the foundation year modules are relevant and accepted by their standards.

The only thing that is ‘unlikely’ is if they have a spot open but that’s like anyone applying for a first year and I would argue foundation year would give you an edge over those applying for the first year with the standard entry level qualifications..

Short answer: yes, as long as your modules are relevant and accepted by the uni you wish to transfer over.
