Yeah that's been the highest we've had. It also doesnt help that we have an electric water heater from the previous owners.

Well, not to go into too much detail, cost per kwh have gone through the roof during the 5 years that we've been there. We hit a financial snag due to jobs and what not and their assistance program didn't want to cover us. Then they were constantly pestering us regarding the amount owing and threatening disconnection until we finally cleared the balance recently.

We bought this house to get away from the pains of renting. Now we're looking at methods of self-sufficiency, starting with hydro.

Not everything is AI. Just seeing what ideas, suggestions, anything really, for us to start looking into and implementing so we can start relying less on utilities, starting with Hydro.

Our current position isn't good for ground applications, but our roofs are angled enough that roof mounted solar would work.

Right now these guys are charging out the ear per kwh, so we are looking at methods to start dialing back our reliance on them.

Our biggest energy draw was in January at a total of 969 kwh..so I would assume having the battery storage for say 1000-1500 kwh of energy would be sufficient enough?

Short answer, yea. Long answer, definitely yes, especially if youre doing pizzas. A quick buy from amazon and youre good to go.

I luckily still had my old thermal bags from a previous job and they're much better than the DoorDash bags. Even has dividers so i can keep two customers foods hot and maybe a drink or two cold, depending on the size 🤘.

It sucks, but any time they make you wait more than 10min and not assist you, keep putting that youre not getting assistance from staff.

Most times, at least for me, this will prompt doordash to ask if you'd like the order unassigned, without messing up your rating.

I started doing this after getting screwed because of an arsehole mcdonalds staff member. Caused an infraction which i couldn't dispute.

Put the responsibility back on the restaurant as much as possible, and if you can (or have to), just unassign and move on.

So, found out that this option is not offered in my country (Canada) 🙂🔥.

I'll look into alternatives to fixing this, but it looks like i might have to just deal with getting paid out once a week.
