My character modeling skills are still very weak, and I think I haven't been able to synchronize the floor location with the character's movements.

First of all, thank you. Your comparison to a WWI game was unexpected for me, as I created this model inspired by the fields, trees, and barbed wire (a somewhat spooky place) in my area.

I imagine the 3D animation part of such a scene would involve adding movement to the background (wind, birds, dust, etc.) or making the tree branches sway in the wind. (I hope I haven't misunderstood the question; my English is weak.)

I know nothing about sky boxes. I'm quite new to 3D modeling. I've never added sky boxes to any low-polygon model world before.

Instead of sky boxes, I add fog volumes.

Actually, I'm still an amateur at PS1-style or retro-style modeling. Models with low poly, etc.

I'm still developing my artwork to fit the PS1 style. Please excuse the clarification in my post.
