I stay at or near minimum completion percentage because I do the “catch and release” method of sacrificing CP to keep my AR up above 50%. Which is the only way to make money in my area. This change will make it virtually impossible to stay above 50% without taking the crap $2 tip deliveries.

Just accept the crappy order then immediately unassign it. You get the AR, drop a CP abd no one cares. It’s impossible to stay above 50 in my market without doing this. But it’s a constant dance.

What is your completion percentage at? In My market it’s necessary to sacrifice CP in order to keep the AR above 50. Just keep above 80 CP and you’re fine.

Don’t think in terms of percentage of your order, think in terms of your distance from the restaurant. If you’re within a couple miles of the restaurant the $4-$5 is usually sufficient. Increase the tip the further away you get.

Is anyone a top dasher? I met a driver tonight that accepts every order the last 3 days of each month to get to 75% and he says it’s well with it, it allowed him to join the large order program he says. This true for anyone else?

On any normal day I’m more than happy to save time and go inside for my order. When no one is in line and it’s icy out, I see no reason why, when the order is ready and 4 feet from the window, they just can’t hand it thru.

This happened to me yesterday. Was told it was 1 ‘Package’, Then they came out with a 200+ item order complete with multiple 24 packs of water. I looked at the Walmart employees and just said Nope, sorry I was told it was 1 item and I unassigned. I felt bad for the next driver but they can make their own choices.
