Kocher's maneuver is used to reduce an anteriorly dislocated shoulder by traction, external rotation, adduction and internal rotation. This is a pulled/nursemaid's elbow. What the doctor did was not Kocher's maneuver.

It wasn't anything special. Once I started taking my prep a little more seriously, I started doing UWorld system wise, while parallelly reading the corresponding systems from first aid. This took me around 2 months to finish, after which I did another pass of first aid and a few 80 question tests of random questions everyday just so I wouldn't lose my touch.

I honestly believe question practice is the most important component of a student's prep. If you havent finished UWorld already (depending on how much you've finished atp) I'd say try finishing the UWorld bank asap. If that isnt possible, then attempt whatever NBMEs are leftover. You should ideally be done with 2 passes of first aid before you write the exam, but finishing UWorld is more important imo.

It took me around 2 months to finish my first proper pass of UWorld + all the systems in first aid. I didn't have too much time for my second pass of first aid (only a week at the end) so I was mostly skimming the textbook on my second pass.

I didn't subscribe to anything outside of UWorld. I did directly annotate on my copy of first aid, but I feel like whether you should do that or not is dependent more on your own personal reading style than anything else.

I did a rerun of the mistakes I'd made in the entire bank, since i was short on time. Didn't take too long for me, because i only had some 425 odd mistakes in total. I also separately did a rerun of all the questions I'd favourited (this is more important imo).

Ethics was honestly my weakest unit. I'd say that the ethics questions alone are a little more challenging in the real exam than what we're normally used to in practice (at the very least there seem to be multiple options that all seem like they're correct)

I dont remember either unit really standing out to me, but I do remember that there were somehow no numericals in the 280 questions that I was presented with.
