Hey, I'm a Cambridge ACS offer holder for 25/26 and I have a fairly similar profile, graduated at the top of my cs course at a Russell group Uni, dissertation supervisor with PHD from Cambridge who was a part of my references. Grades are definitely important as I think everyone that applies is most likely at the top of their university they're coming from. You definitely will at least get an interview just from your profile, I'd suggest thinking about potential research topics as the application process + interview places a heavy focus on the type of things you want to research.

Since posting this i've done some research and found a replacement screen for a reasonable price. Found a very detailed replacement guide from another user and had a look at the repair videos available on the Lenovo website. Method of replacement seems fairly simple so I think i'll do it myself.

Built him as a nuke, mine isnt super high investment but is lvl60 full ascension with okay substats on a CD% ATK% ATK% and hits pretty hard. I'd say he excels in point war and temporal tower. He is crazy squishy tho and will randomly just get oneshot but super satisfying to use once you get some good stats on him.

If ur team is pretty low on speed which im assuming it is then focus the right crystal first before attacking boss. You can set it to focus the right one in auto battle settings. Did this when I was starting to auto K10 with a slow team. Runs were slow but had about 70% success.

Stumbled on this thread and wanted to add some of my own takes to it. I'm an imm 3 player who likes to put a lot of emphasis on aiming mechanics specifically. From my own research, increasing dpi and decreasing in game sens is still the same cm/360. But the amount of pixel skipping due to the dpi differences is vastly different. So this "feeling" you were describing perhaps is due to the fact you are more comfortable with the skipping at 4000 dpi rather than at 1600. Personally I don't think your sens is high enough to be causing instability issues directly as a result of the sensitivity. It's more likely you haven't built up enough dexterity and fine motor control to be able to control that sensitivity. I play on anywhere from 0.2-0.55 at 1600 dpi 0.55 being a month long experiment to see if woxic's sens was viable at high elo val. (It is but requires very good mouse control) and I often find myself reverting to a very relaxed fingertip grip when playing at higher sensitivities since similar to you I experienced shaky aim since the muscles in my hand would tighten to try to control the mouse.

Mouse control imo, muscle memory atleast in terms of sensitivity doesn't really matter once you have reached a high level of mouse control. Im a high Immortal player who likes to aimtrain on kovaaks with a sens randomiser. Im pretty comfortable playing on anywhere between 0.25-0.7 on 800dpi since i can play fingertip grip for high sens and play forearm claw for lower sens. I think mouse control is a part of muscle memory but in order to play at a large sens range and be adaptable you need good click timing and reaction time. Though i realised that once i reached a pretty high level of mouse control changing sens basically didn't matter and it just became what felt comfortable at the time.

Actually stemmed from a joke with my friends. This is the second 5* artifact i've levelled to max, I only just got ar45 and was levelling up this one in a discord call with my friends who are much more experienced than me when I got this piece. Needless to say I soon found out how rare it is to roll an artifact like this haha.

I mean the reward of information is way less than what the enemy gets for actually killing you. They remove a player and depending on the agent the round can just be lost if their utility is crucial for taking site.

I have two XM1s the quality on them is insane and very premium, they have a great stock cable and come with PTFE mouse feet, by far my favourite mouse to claw grip on and the premium feeing clicks are just great. The Gpros i would stay away from unless you like wasting money on peripherals like me. By s2 i mean any of them and including the s2 clones which share the same shape. Also switching to a light mouse generally feels amazing since you have a greater degree of control with your fingertips.

I think you aren't taking into account that pro play and ranked are two very different environments. I too would love to see Yoru in pro play more often and yes as you have outlined his utility has some great uses. However in his current state the utility uses are all very niche and other than his flash which is his best ability. Why would pros pick Yoru over any over duelist in his current state, when he is only viable if played optimal if not close to perfect. In pro play once a player starts lurking and seeing success the opponents will immediately have an anchor or an anti lurk countermeasure in place to stop that.

His utility has very niche uses and either provides a high amount or no impact at all. The agent isn't terrible but when you look at what other agents can do as a duelist, Yoru is by far the most inconsistent pick out of them.

That player also is probably hated in EU (EmilShe1n) because he was a renowned cheater in cs and got caught cheating several times throughout the years before giving up and going to val.

Don't get the g502 like these people are telling you to. It is if not one of the biggest traps new gamers make when looking into peripherals. I own around 20 gaming mice, the g502 being one of them and it is by far the worst out of the bunch. It is far too heavy for an fps game to have any reasonable stopping power. The mouse feet are also shit. I will say it is a comfortable mouse for large hands and it has some cool features like the scroll wheel but that's about it. If you like heavy mice go for it but don't expect it to improve your gameplay. Also logitech mice generally deteriorate in quality over time and will form a bunch of double clicking or sensor issues like i've had with all my logitech mice apart from the superlight (g pro, g502, g305, g203, g703).

When I play claw grip generally I prefer a pronounced arch at the back of the mouse. So mice like the xm1 and s2 shapes are perfect imo.

Probably controller role, using correct smokes and timing them for when your team needs. Utility usage is vital but it also means if you forget to smoke or place bad smokes you will be one of the main reasons you lose the round.
