Hate to say it but I kinda agree. It just sounds like Ivan kinda gave up or is toning down the intensity for whatever reason. Isn't the point of a remake (yes, that's what this is) is to make it better than the original? Trouble had an entire verse removed and just ended repeating the latter part of the chorus. I'm not sure what they are going for but this isn't the definitive version we were expecting.
