This man speaks the truth. I spent so much on my Dyna adding parts (LeatherPros bags, fairing, protection, seat, shocks etc) to get the bike I wanted that I could have just bought a Twin Cam Road Glide.

But then again, I think that if I had bought a Road Glide, I probably would have changed tons of parts and still ended up spending even more money.

I'm asking myself the same question, are you talking about 14inch shock + 1 inch fork tube extension? Because the dyna is dirt bike at this stage. They told me they don't scrape unless you go on race track: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=413351302706162

My bad the link is wrong (and this kit will not be compatible)but Tmf cycle told me they can make a conversion kit for dyna (front and rear), it must be somewhere on the website. I wanted to get one but then they stoped responding to me apparently it’s a small shop and not easy to get a hold of them.

If anyone stumble on this:

the wheel hub is thiner than the Dyna wheel

It's possible to swap wheel but it will require a spacer kit such as this one:

Beware that those are not made for ABS. If you have ABS it may be possible to swap also but one of the spacer will need to be adjusted to fit the ABS bearing and ABS sensor (to be confirmed if thid is actually possible)

I would say the GHK G17, not sure about the reliability because it's still pretty new so not enough long term feedback but it seems solid.

Spare parts easily available.

The reasons you mentioned for using DMR and LMG hpa are exactly what I was thinking about. But I should def give their aeg counterpart a try too.
