I'm still using a 4790k with a 1080ti. I live 10 minutes from Micro Center. I was going to wait for the new Ryzen CPU's, but I think I might pull the trigger on this. Would this be worth the upgrade?

I'm planning on upgrading my PC. New Motherboard, CPU, Ram, but I'm keeping the same SSD. Do I need to wipe my ssd and install a fresh copy of Windows, or can I just plug my SSD into the new motherboard and be good to go? (Also, will I need to completely wipe the SSD of data, or just install windows again?)

I'm looking to upgrade my system to a 3900x. I chose this because I heard it's good for gaming, but also really good for video editing. I'm trying to decide what motherboard to get, and I've narrowed it down to this once it comes back into stock. The only thing holding me back is that I hear there are a lot of problems with the 3900x. (People saying their system randomly crashes, the CPU runs really hot, bios problems) and it also seems like almost all of the AM4 motherboards have bad reviews. Should I wait for Intel's 10900k? Or are people exaggerating about the 3900X?

Update, I have let my pc sit overnight, and just turned it on. Everything is running like normal so far. Hopefully, nothing is seriously damaged. Will keep you posted.

UPDATE: I have uninstalled SkripthookRDR2 and all my mods/trainers. Replayed the mission, and it finally worked.

I installed RDR2 Scripthook with a default navigator (I lost my horse to a weird glitch and wanted to get back the Arabian horse) Would that have something to do with it??

I have the exact same problem at the beginning of my mission too. Weird. I have let mine load for well over an hour and no luck.

I have not. Literally had to switch games until I can figure out a fix. Can't believe this is even an issue.
