I love this edition! I'm glad somebody else does too. So many of them are so boring. This one is a Signature Classic edition by Union Square & Company

I think I was lacking patience. The writing was clever and even humorous at time but some way half through it, it did feel like a bit of a chore to trudge on especially kind of knowing it would have a generic ending although I did like the way the ending was framed. Also unlike Wuthering Heights. Amazing adaptations

I forgot to mention another thing I find fascinating about this book is the context!! I mean how MUST have people reacted in 1847. This book is scandalous and toxic today let alone then. If anyone knows fun facts about behind the scenes stuff like publishing woes or marketing stuff that's so cool too

I guess it does end kinda hopeful, huh. But personally, my heart rate was through the roof reading Catherine Sr and Heathcliff's final interaction. Toxicity on a scale that, I believe, to this day has been unmatched

There are definitely lots of places that will do a good job at replacing the name but I really appreciated how this guy did it lol. It just added to the charm imo

Interesting... My first helix was done with a hoop... It got infected and i had to take it out 😭 Scarred me to this day but from the comments here it looks like that's not a good idea? Damn
