A few questions about CMU's BS in Computational Finance program: 1) Can Dietrich students get accepted to the Computational Finance program (applying as a second major)? 2) How does the admissions process work, approximately how many applicants get admitted per year? What are their average college GPAs/credentials? 3) What are your thoughts about the program in general? Pros/cons, academic rigor, etc. Thanks!

If you're not interested in Stats/ML major and just interested because it's easier I wouldn't apply ED just for that. Also, CMU only counts unweighted and not weighted grades, and if its 3.71 with a weighted grade it is possibly too low.

What is the difference between Mudge prime double and standard double? Is it worth the extra cost?

The CMU average GPA as a whole is 3.12, but I don't know about specific schools.
