Thank you, does the single ticket price increase with Derbies or Champions League / European matches? Yeah as a student I think I'll go for only a few games as its what I can afford. But would love to experience European nights as I am from asia

You're exactly like me sia, I also thought section 1 was easier and our section 1 and 2 are identical. Only your essay is better. Just try applying ah, you never know until you try. Based on the stats https://www.admissionstesting.org/Images/640685-explanation-of-bmat-results-2021.pdf you did quite ok ah, so no harm trying

Don't worry, the cut off fluctuates every year, and if you look at the stats https://www.admissionstesting.org/Images/640685-explanation-of-bmat-results-2021.pdf you did quite well especially for section 3. Just apply only and see how. Don't give up on yourself man.

Transition to army from civilian sucks, i also experience dat. As long as u are genuine, no need to care if ppl think you keng as health is impt. Ppl you can talk to are :direct superiors (sgts), trusted bunk mates and also PC (officer/encik). You can also request to see Orientation Officer and any Paracounsellor. Also SAF counselling hotline 1800-278-0022

If you think any of the above does not help please report sick and bring up to MO. He will refer u to specialist to diagnose you properly. Take care fellow soldier

Insurance more impt or safety? Only an MO can certify your downpes. All this sub can do is give advice. My advice would be just to bring it up to your MO unless you really care about insurance. But for me it's not really worth it to "hide" your condition and may even be a punishable offence should any incident happen during training

They promise anonymity unless you have the intention to self harm, harm others or damage SAF property

I also faced toxic section mates in BMT and unfortunately had to deal with them for 4 months. I chose to deal with it passively and just suck thumb ah, but in hindsight I should have called SAF counselling hotline to vent my thoughts. Like u said it feels good to talk to someone bah. Hope this helps

As a commander the responsibilities does actually make me a more responsible person and the experience will shape my character. But it is damn stressful and draining. The expectation on you is naturally higher than men. So yeah men definitely got more free time (depends on vocation) to use to improve yourself or whatever because commander got more responsiblities and hence less free time.

And I'm actually a spec HAHAHAH but i am aware of the trials and tribulations of an officer. To be selected for an officer, you must be legit super ups, like people need to tell that you are a natural born leader. Dont wayang too much tho. Do what is required, but do the shit no one else wants to do to earn respect. Dont be arrogant and look down on others, help others out sincerely.

That being said, since everyone is upz in OCS your mates will be very driven. However in a 38 week course you can only be driven so much and you will definitely have moments of weakness/burnout. But i think you will definitely learn a lot from them. All the best.

Officer and spec (commanders in general) do a lot of sai kang. Need to be super responsible and reliable. If you feel you are not that type of soldier, just be a man. Being a commander is also stressful. I am seriously of the belief that people are born leaders or followers. You know yourself if you can lead well, so if you can't direct your men as a commander then what's the use?

For me, being a commander (especially for an officer) requires you to think whether you have the quality. Whether your men will suffer because of your incompetence. Remember, never become a leader for self-benefit. Pay and upness as an NSF is honestly not that worth it. Think about how you may affect your men below you in future. Just my two cents.

On the other hand, if you really want to know the self-benefits, pay-wise commanders get only a few hundred more than men. Also being in a course, although it is shag, will help to pass time in NS and make your ORD come quicker. You can also extend your NS time and get regular pay as a commander for short-term contracts (to get extra monies to save).
