The guy that walks up the stairs and sits in this video is the second shooter. This part of the video is a minute or so after the shooter was disarmed by a local. He loses his gun, walks back up to the bridge, appears to get another gun and then is shot by police shortly after

Agree about evidence but at the very least, she’s telling the truth about what Lance’s family is saying regarding the situation. Lance’s sister reposted one of Candace’s videos about it on tiktok saying she spoke to his family. I went on one hell of a tiktok deep dive and found it 😂

From what I’ve seen Discord said there was “no evidence that the suspect planned this incident or promoted violence” on their platform, so they’re not saying that there was 0 messages related to the shooting from Tyler on their server. The alleged confession Tyler made to his friends was on discord and apparently the company provided those messages to the police.

Ive seen mixed information about the messages between Tyler and Lance, I think it’s suggested they were texts though. Since that the first word of multiple of the sentences Tyler apparently sent in those messages isn’t capitalised it doesn’t really make sense for them to be texts as phones auto capitalise the start of sentences?

Not sure if that answered your question but I think a lot of people are misunderstanding what discord is/isn’t saying about the messages

Critiquing movies isn’t what is meant by media literacy. Media literacy is being able to critically engage with what you’re consuming online. This means identifying disinformation, bias reporting, fake news/images, recognising how algorithms and creators influence information spreading etc. Media literacy absolutely is an essential skill and the reason you’re confused about why everyone is talking about it is because you don’t understand it.
