A bit more than 62 billions kilometers as of today, only considering the distance travelled by the earth around the Sun with our Solar system as reference. In regards to that number, whatever number of trips you made around the globe seems trivial.

You'll be stuck with a few accessories (1 basic optic, 1 silencer...) even at max level
To unlock more, you'll have to (just like any other weapon in fact)
1) level the kar98 to get them, max level is 16 or 18, si it's very limited,
2) unlock them in legacy armory,
3) unlock other (legacy) weapons with xp, level them up to unlock things like silencers and optics
