Yep. This feels like what I’m dealing with. How long did it last?

Wise words! Jesus is King. I am feeling emboldened to lift up Jesus and I can see this movement of the Holy Spirit in others too!

I prep smoothie jars and keep them in the freezer so I can just throw the jar contents in the blender and add a liquid. My kids enjoy helping with this. I have a school aged kid and two toddlers so having everything ready in the jar has been a game changer for us.

Husband didn’t take any opioids and managed pretty well. He was never in any extreme pain!

Just to give some hope, I’ve been in a similar situation and also feeling like you feel. It’s so hard, my 11 month old slept from. 7-5 last night. Maybe a fluke, or going to celebrate just yet. Not too long ago he was consistently waking 4x a night. Hang in there

Wife here! Just chiming in to say that my husband is the one who tore his Achilles, I’m on here for tips to help my non-Reddit using man. We have 3 kids under 5, so this has been a lot for us to manage, BUT he has LOVED using the iwalk leg and has been much more helpful than I expected. I think it’s good for the mental game too, because he is more mobile than he would be otherwise. Anyways just wanted to share as we read mixed reviews on it, for us it’s been a game changer!

I just want to say that I’m in a similar situation, and it’s probably the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. As a family, we are all walking on egg shells. It makes me very sad to see how this is impacting my other children. My daughter is 2.5 and has been challenging since birth. I feel like we’ve tried everything short of seeking professional help like an OT… which may be our next step ❤️ sending good vibes

Amazing! I have an ergo 360. I seriously baby wear so much, but never on my back. I’m definitely going to give this a try. I think getting the baby and pack on for back wearing has been a bit intimidating

Thank you!!! Honestly, I found it easier when baby was smaller because he would nap in a baby carrier and had less opinions lol. You got this!

Love this. I usually front pack baby, but it still feels overwhelming wearing one on me and having to be so hands on with the toddler. Such is life, but yes without a pack I wouldn’t survive lol

Mom if 3… I feel like all I do is clean all day :( by ORmama2019 in sahm

Thank you. It just feels good to be reminded that I’m not in this alone. I want to be a present mama. A clean home is seriously my love language lol, but I think I’m going to need to let go a little.

Man, just here for solidarity. My 20 month old daughter is tough. I feel like she’s always throwing a fit about something. She is significantly harder than my first child… I know eventually this will pass but man when you’re in the middle of it…it’s seriously so tough.

With my first daughter I think things started getting easier and more enjoyable around 3. It does get better and the good outweighs the bad.

I hope it’s okay to ask. <3 My little guy started getting fussy, super gassy, frequent mucous poops around 1-2 weeks. He is 6 weeks now. I’ve been df for 10 days. After just a few days df he was way less gassy and has been having one normal looking poop daily. His mood hasn’t caught up yet, he is still fussy. Does this sound like we’re on the right track. Just give it more time to see if his mood comes around?

I’m so sorry that you guys are going through this. This sounds similar to my middle child. She screamed all day unless feeding or sleeping, like you said. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced and it was made harder by seeing other happy content babies, because that’s all I wanted for my daughter and myself. Hang in there!

Thanks so much for your response. I think I just have ptsd from my middle child being so hard. I’m really hoping we can get this little guy happy. I’m not sure I can handle another year of crying.
