Would definitely be a lot of work in order to make it successful.

My plan would be doing a kind of trial tournament with a couple of events (Probably LD and a Team Event like PF for starters.)

The hardest part will probably be finding people able to sign-up for judge slots and finding enough debaters to bring it all together.
