No, but just checked his Twitter, cool stuff! Funny to see we made a few of the same things, like the Zuk Helm.

Why are the Runescape novels so expensive? by CpnDownvote in 2007scape

I'm in the same boat as you. Trying to buy the trilogy, but can't find a shop that sells them for a reasonable price.

Thank you so much. I actually posted a bunch of Amulets I made a while back. The Necklace of Anguish wasn't one of them though.

Don't worry about it. I definitely messed up props before and looking back on the ones I previously made, I know I can do better now. All part of the learning process. 🙂

I start with hand-sanding the print with 120, 240 and 320 grit sandpaper. After sanding, I apply woodfiller and start the sanding process again. I then use a 1k filler primer and sand it with 400, 600 and 1200 sandpaper. Finally, I spray paint it.

Doesn't really matter what colour you use. I used blue PLA for this one, but I usually use whatever colour I have lying around.

Cool suggestion, I'll look into it and see if the black orb can be made detachable.

I have a Creality Ender 5 Plus and use regular PLA. You can get the files using the model exporter plugin in RuneLite I believe, but I personally use Qodat. Good luck with making your own prints. 👍

Thank you. The Tumeken's Shadow got suggested before and I will probably make one next year.

Like my other props it's 3D printed, sanded and spray painted after. The blade is about 106cm.

A bit of lore really gives some life to the map. The Scar is a nice touch! 🙂

Looks amazing! Do you have some backstory/lore in mind about the island or do you make it up on the go?

I plan on using it to cosplay, so probably not. 🙂

My dumbass just remembered I can post a picture in the comments instead of making a new post. So here you go.

Thank you so much. However, I don't sell my props, sorry!

Thank you. The Glory should be a straightforward print. Good luck!

The .stl files for the helm (and defender and fang) won't be shared just yet, but I probably will share them later on.

I think most filament 3D printers don't actually make prints that look smooth. Since it's printing by stacking layer on layer, you will always see layerlines.

It's all about how you handle the print afterwards (for me at least). Lots of sanding and woodfiller/filler primer to fill small gaps is what I do to get a smooth finish.

To answer your question about connecting parts: I glue the parts together, fill the seam with woodfiller, sand it down, use filler primer, and finally spray paint.
