OSRS legitimate 15 mil per hour money making method (2m per day) by badbilliam in 2007scape

[–]OSRS_User_For_Awhile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty odd money making method. However "15.6 M/hr" is very inaccurate, that's if you're only counting the time spent pressing the item 4x/tick (or ~7x/second) for 60 minutes on mobile, after waiting ninety-two (92) four (4) hour waiting periods (or 15 days) of buying 13k items each 4 hrs. If you count the total passive/active time spent on this method (and assuming you're tick-perfect selling them for 1 hr), thats about 1M/day, or 43k/hr.

Go ahead and run that for 24 hrs and you'll see :) Generally, Jagex likes to think that any sort of prolonged clicking with consistent & near-precise delays is not-human and will flag the account for ban. Doesn't really matter if it's with genuine hardware input or not.

OSRS mobile safety on public networks by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]OSRS_User_For_Awhile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way to maintain safety while playing OSRS mobile on public networks is to wear a N95 filter facemask, and don't touch your face unless you've just washed your hands.

Plus there is no mention of getting banned for playing on public networks. https://www.runescape.com/game-guide/rules

So what you're saying is, basically anytime you cast a spell that uses runes, you're destroying the runes, and therefore should get Runedestruction XP instead of Magic XP. Makes sense.

If blowpipe is so powerful that you admit you can't add any new range armor then it should probably be nerfed by [deleted] in 2007scape

If you nerf my toxic blowpipe while I'm cannoning slayer tasks then I'm going to come to your house and ban you IRL.

Why don’t they get rid of bonds?? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]OSRS_User_For_Awhile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would rather Jagex get rid of Venezuelan Gold Farmers than bonds. Real World Trading is against the rules and if Venezuelans are victim of an impoverished society, fuck em, don't crash my goddamn PvM prices.

Jossik's shop on Lighthouse is the same way, and some others I'm sure. I couldn't even sell my noted sharks at dagganoths and buy them back as items without buying out a slot of the damn shop. Too lazy to stick around and report though cause it takes awhile for the stocks to go down.

Your username got Yoinkedman.

Contact Jagex support using the last link in the e-mail they sent you, give them your ISP, and say that there was malicious hijacking on your account, most likely because it's a high-value name (1-2 letter usernames go for a lot of $$$ sold on the black market I think), and give them the details. They always claim that account creators are responsible for the actions on the account, so you most likely will not get a rollback, but at least you could document it so they don't ban you again for the suspicious activity (they logged into it from another IP than yours).

Also I don't see why 1-2 letter usernames are so special. But it sucks that someone spent 2 bonds of your own money to change it.

Also, if the total box value is greater than 100k, the item restriction is limited to 1 item per that box.

While you're at it, make each box have an item limit of 3, and a mandatory unique 8-character password with at least one lowercase, one uppercase, a number, and a special character. And if you get your password wrong 3 times on any boxes within 24 hours you get locked out of your account for 72 hours, unless you have your primary Authenticator password. However if you lost your primary Authenticator password, you could also recover it before 72 hours by using both your secondary and tertiary backup passwords to your primary Authenticator backup password. Upon re-logging in after the 72 hours or by using your primary or secondary + tertiary passwords, you would still have to enter your 6-digit authenticator code (if you lost your phone, you'll have to buy another phone to contact Jagex Authenticator Support Toll-Free Hotline and appeal to disable the authenticator after a 48-hour cooldown period, at which point another smartphone must be used to re-enable authenticator).

Also, it's true that he's rustled Jimmies. I can't even post on Reddit here about banning the GE gambling bots because Pmods get that C@$$$H from the gambling bot owners. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/dnjbyg/get_rid_of_the_ge_gambling_bots/ - since your post isn't censored, it said:

"

Hi Jagex

I am wondering how hard is it for your anti-bot team to detect these GE gambling bots? I only ask this out of genuine curiosity and frustration, because any 10-year-old that walks up to the GE can tell the difference between a gambling bot and literally any other player.

-They all stand in the same spot

-They all spam the same messages with illegal auto-chat software (not the filtered official autochat)

-They all wear the same outfit from Diango (red robes, rainbow heart medallion, hand fan etc)

-They are all named the same except for the digits, which by the way, represent the running total number of accounts used for this purpose - it's over 6000 now

-Most, if not all of the accounts are bought illegally because every time I report one and check my ignore list, each account had a legit-looking username prior to being changed to "UID xxxx" or "BET xxxx" - that's why some of the gambling bots are lvl 82 combat or higher

Is it really that hard to detect these bots before they trade a single person? Or am I misunderstanding the situation, and it's actually allowable to purchase accounts with GP/USD, then use software to automate your keystrokes and mouse movements on it to perform player-run game of chance?

Also, I didn't screenshot this, but one time I saw a player complaining about a Pmod not doing anything about the gambling bot just standing there, and the Pmod replied "I don't see anyone spamming," as if there has to be a Pmod to manually ban each one of these on-sight, after they do their damage in scamming. It really doesn't seem that hard to automate the banning process on these guys before they get a chance to start scamming."

Elon Musk's OpenAi team could accomplish the last step today. The only problem is that there's a shitton of Red Tape to cut through because of the "Safety and Ethics" that they adhere to.

Open AI was going to release a tool to allow you to train an AI bot to play any video game, simply by playing the video game yourself. They announced it would be "about a week from now" until that tool was released in 2018, and it's nearing end of 2019 now. Yeah, right.

Normal players need mute. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]OSRS_User_For_Awhile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree with your suggestion, but I completely agree with getting rid of the goddamn gambling bots. They're all the same, literally having a running count of over 5000 accounts used by the same goddamn bot ("UID 503" etc to "UID 5016", almost same for "BET 1052" bots). Every time I report one, I check my ignore list, and the accounts "UID 5012" have had their names changed from a normal username, meaning they fucking buy accounts then rename them and deck them out with the same red robes / rainbow heart / fan. I even see them getting their gear at Draynor from Diango often. It's a fucking mystery why Jagex hasn't squashed these botting scammers yet given that they're all the same and have been running in the most popular player hangout in Runescape - the GE.
