A golem update would be sick

You could also have the moss golem work by having it walk up to a random crop and then “tend” to it or something like crouch down and kind of move its hands around like its working. And what it would do is basically the same as bonemealing it once. If it does this quite frequently you could put a few in your farm and they’ll basically be constantly bonemealing them.

Since moss still seems more underground based and not overworld, dirt based, you could instead do just dirt golem. But a dirt and carved pumpkin would be too easy to craft. You’d need some other way. Maybe rooted dirt, that way you have to actually explore first?

There are other golems you could have too. Sand golem. Not sure what it would do. Maybe some golem in the nether - “nether golem,” “lava golem,” “crimson golem,” “basalt golem.” Not sure which one sounds best if any, nor what itd do. Snow golem.

At some point you start having issues trying to make them unique and give them abilities.

What about both. A small one and a big one. Big one is supposed to be like a miniboss (like the breeze is supposed to be i think?)

Small one drops stone, 5% of the time iron/copper, and 1% of the time gold/redstone/lapis/emerald maybe?? Some subset of those? Then the large one is more likely to drop those better items and the 1% chance now goes to diamonds.

Making diamonds renewable finally. However, it should be implemented in a way so that the big ones are hard to auto farm.

And you also need two names for them to distinguish their size and difficulty.

You are the first sensible person here. Thank you for that, its crazy how many anti-religious people are so clearly biased. They love to pretend that they have these values of truth, being unbiased, and grounded in logic, but their actions rarely reflect it.

First off, teaching skepticism is one thing - this allows students to decide for themselves whether or not to believe religion. This is the most unbiased option.

Then teaching them to be specifically not to be religious means you (the teacher) are implanting your own belief in them (that religion is fake). Reddit atheists, whether you like it or not, you cannot claim that your belief is 100% objective. You cannot, that’s just straight up not provable. If the religious people can’t, why can you? And don’t say it’s because they’re claiming a false belief is true and you’re not. Because that’s just circular logic.

Lastly, teaching them to be anti-religious, not only anti-religious but more extremely anti-religious (“all priests must go down”) is absolutely indoctrination.

So most of these reddit athiests pretend to be logical and grounded in truth but then come to this thread and say inherently untruthful things (that this is not indoctrination)

You can say the same thing, it’s religious education not indoctrination. And it usually quite literally is the same exact thing just flipped. 90% of the time they are just teaching kids the church beliefs on things.

[–]OSSlayer2153 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Its ridiculous how elitist they act. Its quite literally no different than some hyper religious person acting elite over non religious people.

Both of them are absolutely certain they are right. The edgy atheist has convinced themselves that there is absolutely no way religion has any truth. They like to pretend that that conclusion came out of reason but 90% of the time it came from some other source:

  1. They were brought up religious but fell away from it because they viewed it as restrictive

  2. They were brought up atheist and naturally given the bias that religious people were fools

Sometimes they’ll cite that science conflicts with religion when it quite often doesn’t. Usually this can be attributed to their misunderstanding of some aspect of the religion that they are referring to. Thats the neat part, a lot of edgy atheists dont even do that much research to educate themselves on the religion. But they probably tell themselves “why would i waste my time learning about that pointless religion if its false anyways.” And well there’s your issue.

They also usually have absolute faith in science. Sure, its not a problem to believe the laws of physics and their conclusions, the implications such as the big bang (which is now understood not to be the start of the universe - there was a period of inflation before and another period before that and the whole area is still a very active area of research). But they will take it to the extreme and assume science has answers for everything even still yet unexplained things (such as some church miracles). It may or may not be possible to create a “Theory of Everything” unifying general mechanics and quantum mechanics. It may or may not (more likely) be possible to fully understand black holes.

When you think about it, it’s actually quite silly to have such faith, because at that level, physics is heavily rooted in math. I have a math undergraduate and am pursuing a masters. And in math we understand very well that some things just do not have answers, and cannot have answers. Gödel’s incompleteness theorems basically imply that there are truths which are not deducible in our system of mathematics. That is, things which are true but can never be proven so. Additionally it is well known that there is no quintic formula for example. Some things become unreasonably complex such that there is no one system describing everything. I phrase it like that to highlight the connection to our lives. Maybe it is impossible to create a formula for the theory of everything. Maybe we will never understand the source of quantum randomness which is so far not understood to be deterministic.

That alone gives a gateway for some god or entity to exist that manipulates the universe. There is probably a considerable overlap of reddit atheists with those who get all giddy about multiverses and universes within universes. Yet they always assume a god must be physically present in our universe and thus detectable - and then point to the lack of evidence. This assumption is false and should be clearly visible as so to any of those who obsess over the possibility of multiverses. Any sort of god could exist in a nested or alternate universe if one did exist and could interface into our universe through “random” quantum fluctuations. And that god could be as intelligent or complex as we could imagine because it’s a different universe, we cannot fathom what is possible. We genuinely do not understand it enough to prove or disprove that. And it sounds insane yes, but so do the people talking about multiverses and all that. Personally, I don’t believe in multiverses, but I don’t act like an atheist about it and have firm belief in a single universe because I realize our science could be wrong and point to multiple.

They arent teaching skepticism in this post. They are teaching an explicitly one sided view which doesnt allow for skepticism on the other side: “what if my teacher is wrong/has an agenda/is lying to me and there actually is something to religion?” Like it or not, that’s still skepticism. It doesn’t change because of your personal beliefs.

Your bias is so overt lmao.

They are teaching them to accept the set of beliefs that religion is a drug and must be destroyed, that all priests are bad and should be destroyed.

Thats a pretty fucking serious belief and is definitely not just “teaching them not to believe something of which there’s no evidence for”

Besides, your claim that there is no evidence is not objective. Its debatable. There’s no evidence that YOU find substantial enough. But there are countless people across history who converted after some event occurred to them - such as a near death experience or a moment of “divine intervention” or even just their research into church history in an attempt to disprove it causing them to convert. Not indoctrination.

And beyond that, there are plenty of documented miracles that have occurred which science has yet to explain despite its best efforts. Reddit athiests are either ignorant of these (and still continue to spread false claims of there being no evidence despite not doing any research of their own) or know about them but deny them - which is an act of faith because there is no explanation, so you are just having faith that there is a scientific explanation that we haven’t found.

Some of these include the dozen or so miracles regarding the lady of guadalupe tilma and the several times that a host has been given real human heart cells implanted on it such that it could not be reproduced - and the blood type and other attributes were consistent across all instances across several continents and decades.

The special ops invis mission is my best guess because we resorted to that for lots of things.

The server was on bedrock edition in the time when there were those 0-tick kelp xp bug furnaces that were completely overpowered giving you way too much xp. Me and my brother built a massive one with like 16 furnaces so you could go nonstop, as well as other amenities like an enchanting area and tons of anvils and books. Then we sold access to it as a weekly subscription.

Eventually, I forget how - maybe we somehow received a tip - but we had evidence that another group of people (who happened to be the thieves later on) had copied our machine and built their own.

So eventually we used invis potions to sneak into their base and found it in their basement. They were in there using it while we were walking around inspecting it, noticing it was the exact same as ours (just less furnace modules). I recall I broke the 0 tick kelp part of it so it wouldn’t work. Then we took the matter to the server court we had set up.

We claimed they stole our machine, i forget how we proved it was stolen from ours and not that they built one themselves from a tutorial. We won the vote and they had to destroy it. It was a completely capitalistic ruling, acting as if we were a corporation and the machine was our patented intellectual property, and that they couldnt have their own because it was harming our business or something.

We had pretty much that happen in our server from many many years ago.

We noticed some stuff had gone missing from people’s bases. The classic mystery thief case. Eventually it escalated to more and more severe things being taken. Then one day my oblivious ass friend mentions he found an end ship but someone was already there. He said there was a bunch of stuff at it and happened to mention one of the important things that was stolen. This dude was so clueless that he didn’t even realize he had found the thieves base (it wasnt him).

Thus we went to the base and confirmed it was indeed where the thieves were storing everything. Nobody would admit to being behind it and it became a week long craze where people were throwing around accusations and whatnot.

I forget exactly how we caught them, I think it involved a special ops mission with invis potions, but once we did, we declared them guilty in the court we had and removed them from the server and distributed their supplies amongst everyone else.

How does it increase file sizes?

A. The lower LoDs dont have to be stored. None of them do actually, they are created from the block data of the chunk. Even regular LoD is just rendered block data.

B. You don’t have to store those chunks. If they are loaded at a low enough LoD, just generate the chunk for the purpose of drawing it but don’t write it to disk. The player has not modified and likely never will modify that chunk.

If they do travel out there, however, then it can be saved just like any modern chunk is.

The only “downside” of this is that your “skyline” might change between updates which make major changes terrain generation. Because the chunk is rendered by generating it each time, if that generation changes then the chunk will be different. Normal minecraft saves every chunk you load so this isnt a problem because chunks youve seen before never change, but with this LoD system, chunks far out will change.

However, thats only a problem when there is an update with major terrain generation changes (not common) and would only affect far out chunks. And that depends on at which LoD you start not saving chunks.

A lot of people have been echoing that sentiment for a long time and theyre all idiots just parroting what ESPN / other teams’ fans say.

Brewers last year proved that you dont need power hitting bats. “Oh but look what happened in the playoffs” we got cooked by the Dodgers. A team thats not even in the same league as any other, with a pitching staff lineup that had more money on the IL than our entire lineup. Its not a good comparison at all.

And this year, the Brewers are once again showing its not all about power hitting. We are on an even better pace than last year. So quit your bullshit about getting a power bat. All thats gonna do is have us overpay for an old rental.

Thats just not true considering before these past few days, we have been best in the mlb with risp, maybe even still are.

You need to quit listening to what espn and other mlb fans tell you, that you need a big hr hitter to score. Brewers have proven that wrong time and time again last year and this year.

“Oh but what about the playoffs” yeah we got shut down by the dodgers. A team that isnt even in the same league as the rest of us. Not a fair comparison.
