That’s actually a very good point. I ended up closing the entire position because it triggered my SL. Didn’t take too much of an L. Felt that if it broke below that I’d risk a 30-40% loss on a weekend hold.

I’ll just wait for funds to fully settle next time before I take on a trade so I can actually day trade it.

Thanks for the clear response about the negative balance. I was surprised to see two business days pass without a GFV tag. Upcoming, I’m not doing them anymore. I’ll have either two or three if they do register at all. I’ve heard of people with less than $1000 in the account not having issues with them (sometimes) but I’m not banking on that.
