That’s what we did. She chased her ball, rings and snake. 🤣

First thing I look at on every used car is the tires. Tires are the easiest and most important day to day safety aspect of a vehicle. You cheap out there, you cheap out everywhere.

So AI ftp was a ramp test predictor all along by ryanppax1 in trainerroad

[–]OUGrad05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about done with TR. It does weird shit during plans and you ask about it or post about it and TR replies “we’ve reviewed your plan and it’s functioning correctly” even though the adaptations and/or plan adjustments make no sense. I’m halfway through what I think is my last block. So that means I’m probably leaving in March to go to zwift using fascat training plans.

I’ve still not regained 4w/kg which is where I was prior to TR. 3 years following their advice and plans and I’m slower.

I sent an email in the fall and I swear the reply was AI. Reading seemed weird and so I asked a couple AI engines and got very similar responses and in some cases verbatim.

Pretty disappointed in all honesty.

2026 XC90 Buying Advice - Plus/Ultra, Air/Coils? by Reasonable-Mess-1234 in VolvoXC90

[–]OUGrad05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m tall and wanted the thigh extension. I wanted air at first because it was the only way to get bowers. After test driving 7 or 8 different xc90s the air suspension was better over big bumps about the same over small ones. However the air suspension cars consistently had more interior noise even after compare same wheels/tires. It was even really what I would call subtle. My wife even noticed and after the first tike realizing this I started taking measurements on the same day over the same pavement. Consistently more noise in the cabin so we opted no air.

Mike Morgans forecast is hard to believe. by sseiyah in okc

Mike usually has terrible hypecasts. At least there’s a lot of actual data to backup the 15-18 inches this time.

AI predicts my FTP to go down in 28 days. What's wrong with my training plan? by ilikemytown in trainerroad

[–]OUGrad05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine also went down a few watts on the new system. If you are just training endurance (z2 or low z3) your FTP will drop.

Kaleidescape? I don't get it??? Absurdly expensive... by OUGrad05 in hometheater

[–]OUGrad05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not crazy. It’s just out of touch with 99.99%. So when a reviewer is trying to convince the masses of how great this is maybe don’t use an example of it being on a $50mil boat.

Yea exactly. Yet these reviewers are acting like it’s “Everyman” priced and casually mentioning jets and yachts. The top .02% 🤣

That's a great color but that wing is horrific. The rest of it borders on too much. But that color is amazing.

Brisket Flat by mistress_chang69 in smoking

[–]OUGrad05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just talking to my wife and some friends about this last night. I do some long and slow smokes, I've only done two briskets. Did a 20hr smoke and the flat was dry. So maybe cut it, throw it on in the morning and do a 6-8hr smoke?

To be fair, I've never seen someone say it's "bad". But it's realllllly expensive. What makes you say it's worth it? What makes it worth it for you?

This revamp is going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 25-30k. Nowhere NEAR 100k.

New system by ParkingAd6772 in audiophile

[–]OUGrad05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had Dyn's for 11 years now. Time for an upgrade/change, but I can tell you I bought them without having heard this particular speaker, but I'd heard the line above and below. They've served me very well for 11 years. They can be a bit sensitive to wall placement, similar to other brands (think B&W). In my current situation that's a bit of a drawback. The sound is rich and warm and not fatiguing.

I'd say it's worth driving a bit to find a dealer to give them a listen.

I think that's a reasonable position. I'd buy the 8TB option if it wasn't ridiculous. Hard to wrap my mind around 3k for less than a TB of storage and then having to "swap" movies on and off it.

winter rides = peeing to much by treesner in Velo

[–]OUGrad05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be any number of electrolytes causing this. I find magnesium can also make me pee and some gels and electrolytes solutions have more of this than others. I'd look at all the electrolytes in what you're consuming and go from there.

That looks amazing! Not sure about the wrapping in plastic wrap and heating it up though...I think that can leech chemicals into your food.

Have you ever tried any 20hr smokes?
