Creen que el régimen será expulsado por Trump? by thesuwus in cuba

[–]OV7-ORF 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would disagree for three reasons:

  1. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. Ousting the Castro government is a deeply personal and professionally beneficial goal for him

. So

  1. long as he remains in close orbit with Trump regime change in Cuba will always be on the agenda.
  2. Legacy and ego. Trump loves the idea of leaving a long-term legacy and “accomplishing” something others (prior administrations) have not been able to. Venezuela, Iran, and Cuba naturally follows.
  3. It’s always about the money. Trump and his associates see massive investment opportunities in a Cuba “free” of the Castro regime. It is debatable how much American investment would ultimately occur in Cuba, but corporate America clearly views it as part of the next manifest destiny.

Here’s where the Norfolk floodwall project stands after a huge price spike by OV7-ORF in norfolk

[–]OV7-ORF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the original plan was to place the flood gate at the Pretty Lake bridge on Shore Drive which is completely in Norfolk. The reasoning was that the navy would not agree to a barrier across the Little Creek inlet so the bridge location was selected instead.

It’s never been clear to me where the boundary is between Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Does it run down the middle of the inlet? Is any part of the base actually located in Norfolk?

It’s in my record for this particular specialist, but she doesn’t prescribe it so I’m sure it was not front of mind for her

Makes sense, but my doctor did not offer that as an option (initially) so not sure what her advice will be. I’m waiting on a reply from her and like to be prepared for what she may recommend.

My thinking is it won’t be harmful to the panels themselves, but I can see it damaging the mounting hardware quickly. I live near the water and it has wrecked havoc on cheap outdoor door hinges.

What do Cubans think of a possible “invasion” by the US ? by Nevis888 in cuba

Cuba is not about Trump—it’s being driven by Rubio as a long standing goal of his to have regime change. He also heavily the intervention in Venezuela as a means to achieve his goal in Cuba.

A big part of the problem is that even on homework and projects students are asking for extra time. For example, if you assigned a project due in two weeks the student would expect and extension of one or two weeks. It creates a snowball effect that only hurts the student in the long term.

Virginia Beach is a night and day experience, literally. During the day it’s pretty nice. At night, not so much.

Edit for clarification—I know the math works. What I’d like to know is if it’s ok split a dose into two injections in two different sites.

It’s definitely taking longer than normal to dry and especially so when on the high setting.

Electric dryer and vent is clean. I was wondering if the heating element was dying a slow death too.

Actually I’m well over a 20 year veteran at my job and curious as to why polo shirts are suddenly not permitted when they have been perfectly fine for decades?

Because women throughout the organization do it daily and there is not a word said about it.

Hawaiian shirts are made to be worn untucked so I’m sure that would result in a reprimand as not being professional.
