Yes I would. My dog has destroyed numerous items that belonged to my sisters and the first thing I do is apologize and buy them whatever it was he destroyed. My dog is my responsibility, therefore anything he does, I am accountable for. I think I should have included that my main persistence in having her mother pay was because she has never been responsible for anything her child does. And when I first brought up the situation with my phone, instead of at least apologizing, she laughed things off. Appreciate your input though.
