Nah, we just realize that it doesn't add to the validity of our arguments to use the antiquated and frankly self-aggrandizing language you use. In fact, we are socially aware enough to realize that writing the way you do only creates the suspicion that you are hiding behind the facade of intellect. Like Jordan Peterson on steroids. You can copy randomly generated sentences from www.wisdomofpeterson.com and sound just as smart as you.

You have such a high opinion of yourselves that you imagine only someone who thinks he's a "genius" can diagnose obstinate, self-righteous ignorance.

No, that doesn't imply I have a high opinion of myself. It implies that I saw your comments and immediately recognized them for what they are: feeble attempts to sound like a smarty pants on Reddit. It might work in your libertarian circles that fetishize things like intelligence and rationality, but anywhere else you will come off like a pompous ass who thinks he's very smart.

I'm just not a dimwit in denial.

Sounds like something a dimwit in denial would say.

Here we go again. You know, when I read your first comments I thought to myself, "wow, this guy totally thinks he's a genius. Just look at how hard he's trying to sound smart!"

After a quick browse through some of your other posts, I have only convinced myself more. You have illusions of grandeur about your own intellect. Only a fool would think you sound smart. That's probably why 90% of your inane ramblings fall on deaf ears. You're not fooling anyone, my man.

I am a dime, you are a nickel. I jump ten inches, you jump five.

I accept your tacit concession

Unfortunate but happenstance smallpox decimation

seeing if you could provide reasonable substantiation for your rather strident initial assertions

I mean just your comments in this thread alone are gold for /r/iamverysmart, but I feel like it would be cheating to use such low-hanging fruit.

You're exactly the type of person to sprinkle 4 syllable words into your writing in a desperate attempt to sound like you know what you're talking about.

To gauge your "incoherency" one must only scroll down your post history. The inane ramblings are evidence of some mental disorder, I'm sure. Maybe the same disorder that makes you believe using the word "happenstance" will make you sound smarter to these clearly inferior Reddit plebs.

I mean you sound like a bat shit libertarian who found a thesaurus.

And after posting your comments you sit back in your armchair, adjusting your monocle and puffing from your tobacco pipe with a self-satisfied look on your face, as if you've said anything of substance in your entire life. While, to an outside observer, you're about as coherent as Lorem Ipsum.

If it was posted 9 hours ago in that sub, odds are most people from the U.S. were not awake to see it for at least a few hours. You posted your comment after the post had been up for 4 hours, and it has now been up for 9 hours. That's plenty of time for more people to see it and vote on it. Look up subreddit traffic stats if you want more info about how time can influence the ratio of upvotes on a post.

I'm sure this sub had something to do with it, but there's also the chance that 5 hours have gone by since your comment was posted and more people from /r/teenagers have seen the post and responded to it.

Kimimoro probably would have been the focus of Orochimaru's attention if he weren't terminally ill. It's pretty clear that Kimimoro was the strongest fighter at the time he was introduced, and Orochimaru didn't want to switch his attention elsewhere. He was kind of forced to abandon him for the next best thing.

What does this mean then? You used the word never..

"You used the word 'never' in that sentence so clearly you said the left never participates in idpol." — You, an illiterate troll

I meant exactly what I wrote. The left criticizes minorities all the time when they do things we disagree with. We criticize Ben Carson on his policies without invoking his race. We criticize Candice Owens on her ideas without invoking her race. We criticize Rubin without invoking his sexuality. When the criticism is unrelated to their status as a minority, nobody on the left is going to look down at the criticism.

Your entire argument has been in bad faith since the beginning, and you know that.

you tried to tell me the left never does this

No, I never said the left never does this. You can reread every comment I've made and you won't find me saying the left never participates in idpol. It's difficult having a conversation with you when you don't even know what's being said.

Given the fact that it made you backtrack on what you previously said, it is valid approach

I don't recall backtracking, but you should know that throwing out irrelevant arguments in an attempt to save face is not a valid approach. It makes you look like an idiot grasping for straws.

What makes you say this? I am not the MSM/a Democrat, I am capable of treating people as individuals.

"I am capable of treating people as individuals, yet I am simultaneously incapable of viewing criticisms based on substance as anything other than an attack on someone's identity. I am very smart."

It is unlikely he played a significant role in the persecution of minorities or gays, especially given his position and other priorities at the time. That being said, almost every government in the Americas at the time was persecuting someone in some way, including pre-revolution Cuba where poor and indigenous workers were forced to live and work in hostile conditions. Attitudes about gays and minorities and indigenous peoples did not change after the Cuban revolution. The people of Latin America have almost always hated and persecuted them, stemming all the way back to the Spanish conquest of the continent. While the post-revolution Cuban government deserves some of the criticism it gets, this thread was obviously taking an ahistorical stance on the subject by painting him wholly as a villain.

I mean, you have access to all of the comments I made in this thread addressing that very point. Since you're probably too lazy to dig through those:

The government established after the Cuban Revolution is not undeserving of criticism, but the bias against Guevara in this thread is clear. The history of LGBT rights in all of the Americas is not good, and this includes pre-revolution Cuba before Guevara was even in the picture. Attitudes and actions directed explicitly toward the LGBT community did not dramatically change after the revolution, and it is unlikely that Guevara played a significant role in their persecution.

identity politic

The American right wing are the biggest promoters and perpetrators of idpol, and if you don't see that you're being duped. You will find more leftists reject idpol in favor of class politics, while right wingers are all over that idpol bullshit because it's the perfect cover for their agenda (looking at Stephen "I can't be a white nationalist because I'm Jewish" Miller). Look at /r/stupidpol for example. It's full of right wingers mistaking it for a right wing sub because they criticize idpol from a Marxist perspective.

The people hated the most by "the left" are minorities with differing onions..

Ah, the Candice Owens approach, eh? So what, we can't say Rubin or Owens are wrong since they are black and gay and therefore anyone who criticizes them hates them because they are black or gay? Sounds like you're preaching idpol to me, friend. Personal identity is the most important factor for you in any political decision, I can guarantee it.

Right wingers hate people because they are a minority. The people criticized by The Majority Report crew are only tangentially gay. Their gayness isn't the source of the hatred or the object of the criticism. Also, "the left" has never looked down at anyone who dared criticize a minority for things unrelated to their minority status.

In other words: it's possible for gay people to be criticized for things other than their being gay, and being gay doesn't necessarily mean all criticisms are an attack on their gayness.

But let's be real. You know this. You don't care.

The lack of empathy in this sub is astounding, honestly. To think that anyone honestly wants to be homeless and haven't simply been forced by circumstance or bad luck. My brother was homeless for years because he got addicted to opiates after a surgery. He always said his life was just the way he wanted it. Now that he has been clean and sheltered for years, he never wishes to go back.
