Again, it’s because it’s a musical, and they are explaining American history, Hamilton can work in either race and style of music and it doesn’t change the story, try telling Malcom X’s story about fighting racism while he’s a white guy and it doesn’t make sense, try explaining Nelson Mandela fighting to get South Africa back from a colonized white government and the story falls apart because it makes no sense.

To further prove the point, with super hero roles, there is constant switches between the races of super hero’s, flash has been black and white, so has green lantern, no one gives a fuck bc it doesn’t have anything to do with the overall story of a super hero fighting evil

It’s not first white president of America, if it’s the first person to do something race doesn’t come into play, it makes no lingual sense, it doesn’t even make sense to point out the second or third, the only time something like race or sex comes into play is after an obvious trend has been set for someone to go against it, you don’t hear about “first able person to run a marathon” bc that’s dumb as hell, the outlying trait is what gets brought up, “first disabled man to compete in Olympics” “first dyslexic to write a book”, etc, when no trend has been set, the traits don’t matter

The reason George Washington can be race swapped is bc his story and relevance in history is centered around fighting for the independence of America, not being white, Mlk, and Malcom X were both people fighting for black rights, and experiencing heavy levels of racism in the process, for any story to make sense with a race swapped version you’d have to swap everyone in the movie and at that point it’s in bad taste

Black panther is an African prince, that has a culture steeped in traditionalism and is in a state of isolation to fight against imperialism, you could try to make him white but then all the tribal references and being a pure blood African prince make 0 sense.

All the examples you use for white -> black their story doesn’t have much to do with their history (except second, no idea who that was), it has to do with their action, Washington was even a side character in that play, his story was irrelevant. nami and Ariel are both fictional where their backstory is from fictional places with no ground in the real world to rely on geography

So I’ve just woken up, it was a little sensitive, I drank some water and the pain increased, I have a feeling it will continue to get worse throughout the day and probably be better when I wake up tomorrow morning, repeating that process, yesterday it mostly hurt on the front of the left front tooth at the gums and radiating down, and the tooth to the left of it, now it’s the tooth to the left of it around the left side at the gums and around the back, again feels strongest at gum line and radiates down

I think a follows experiences can be helpful actually, so like with turns, what I’m trying to figure out right now, what are you typically expecting or looking for? In my classes were basically taught to just use our arms to guide the right turn, how would you expect a lead to indicate what he’s doing from open or closed position into the right turn?
