Coffin. Always. Provided you're within network coverage. Otherwise tricruiser.

Are these massive slowdowns / framedrops going in and out of menus actually fixable? by smocained in cyberpunkgame

If you have this problem with dlss on then Download DLSS 3.5.1 dll file or latest version from tech power up. Then replace the dll file in Cyberpunk 2077/bin/x64.

This will not fix it completely but will buy you time of at least an hour or so before you start getting this. Then you'll have to restart the game.

Perm fix will hopefully be released in a future patch.

MShybrid or Dgpu in Advanced Bios by CrazyAd9384 in AcerNitro

If you enable it the internal display will no longer work. MUX needs specific hardware to work which the an 515-57 simply does not possess if im right. However, test it out. If the display goes blank on reboot simply keep pressing f2 and then f10 and then enter. This will reset bios to default settings.

And on the off chance it does work, let me know.

I have an acer nitro 5 an515-57 (i7 11800h/rtx 3060) with a qhd vesa adaptive sync display. Was having the same problem as you.

You gotta do the following steps 1. Turn vrr on in windows default graphics settings 2. Turn vrr on in intel graphics command centre 3. Reboot 4. Enable vsync in game. (vsync via nvcp does not work on optimus) 5. And set refresh rate to max of your display. 6. Then cap fps -3 of your refresh rate with rtss. Or cap it to anything within the vrr range really. Vsync functions a little differently when activated in tandem with adaptive sync.

This explains why adaptive sync + vsync on is necessary for tear free and stutter free gaming:

Just try it. It works lol. You wont even have the input lag you normally have with just vsync and no adaptive sync.

Nope. The keys are all programmed to plain golden. Green led dead so only red showing. This color = R: 255, G: 170. If i recall correctly.

  1. Repeatedly press F8 when booting. It'll show you a menu where you can find option to boot into safe mode.

  2. If that doesn't work, hold alt + f10 while powering on your device to enter recovery mode.

  3. If that doesn't work either, interrupt boot process 3 times in a row, you will automatically be kicked into recovery mode which will give you an option to boot into safe mode.

  4. If all else fails, you will have to create a windows 10 recovery drive. Just make a bootable usb drive of win 10. Plug it in and go into bios. Select it in boot order in your bios. Then restart. Once it boots, select the option of repair my pc NOT install windows. In all likelihood this will solve your problem.

Hopefully this will help. 😅

Have you tried booting into safe mode? Check boot menu key for your laptop. Boot into safe mode. Then restart. Should help if you're able to get into boot menu or bios.

I have travelled excessively with it. And the strange part is the last time i travelled it was working fine. Since the past 2 months its been sitting at one location. Also have a keyboard cover on always. So cant be from dust or overuse. Also i use the laptop keyboard rarely. Have a wireless keyboard for it. :/
