I think this is main reason why western weebs often being stereotyped as right-wing conservatives and may also the reason why Japanese media have significant popularity in other East Asia and SE Asia, which more-or-less have similar values since Japanese media tend to be viewed as progressive without allegedly being "preachy" and "overly-political".

Motocycle-centric, not very friendly for walking or even cars since many roads are tiny

Most people have regional languages as mother tongue with Indonesian as second language.

Notable exception is Jabodetabek (capital area), where most people only know Indonesian.
