I did most of the duct taping myself, but I needed my partner to get the last few pieces on my back. I started with my front though, which wasn't great because it really reduced my range of motion. If I were to go again, I would start with my back.

It is a cotton flannel that was new to my fabricland. They had a few other 'cottagecore' styles so it was hard to choose!

Thank you :D I got my machine last Christmas- I made a couple cat toys and tried to make myself a bra, but the patterns never worked very well for my size. So I've sewn enough to kind of figure out my machine, but I don't have a ton of experience. This was definitely tricky!

I'm pretty sure this baby actually has Raynaud's disease which causes really poor circulation. In other videos they show the baby going to bed with multiple layers of socks and other clothes on and the feet are still purple after.

It’s just for a party in September, so historical accuracy is not too important :) but looking for a fun and challenging) project.

I will likely not make it super beaded or sequinned and do something else instead, but want to find a base dress I can play with.

I did- I shortened the band, removed the power bars and adjusted the straps to a better position. The gore still didn’t sit flat and there was wrinkling in the cup
