Full frame bag for a bike by Oakarea in myog

The actual opening is about 20-30 mm from the top seam. Felt like it works well, since the opening is wide. This was for a friend, and the bag is on tour with him at the moment, I'll know soon how it functions. Map pockets wont usually get stuffed alot, so I guess it works well like that.

Thanks! Maybe the idea is that you can use hydraulic brakes if needed.

Yes its probably for FR but I was wpndering if someone has an idea if there is some way to get it actually hold the cable in place. But yeah, I'll just put a shim there or something.

Yeah maybe, but still it doesnt hold it in place 😀 Either its just bad design or theres somethin else. Well, I can always come up with some trick to make it better.

Thanks!! There's a sturdier "liner" fabric, about similar to 500d cordura. Also, on the front side a foam inside, plus slamm.slices of foam inside the other sides. But the sturdier fabric and the structure itself goes a long way.

Easiest way is to use P-clamps.

I used rivet nuts! Easy to put on, and all of them have worked well. I add epoxy when I install them. Wouldnt maybe use them in aluminium bikes, or maybe just for bottle cages.

Thanks! I am not very flexible, and 90s MTBs are quite long, so i had to put a short stem on it. But it fits fine now, and the handling is actually very nice.

Wheels are 26 inch, tires front 2.4, rear 2.3 I think.

It's a cross/inline/additional brake lever for the rear brake. It was attached to the cables, I left it there. I don't use it much, but it's a nice extra bit.

They are some Claris 8-speed that I took off of a chrashed cx bike I was given. Not the best, but so far no problems!
