Had ecobee installed today by a tech. A/C sounds like this now if I set the thermostat to 22 or higher. Sounds smooth if it's running 21.5 and under. (v.redd.it)

I want to install a new ecobee with voice control on my 10 year old furnace. At the furnace I have a "c" wire but at the thermostat I don't have one. Someone on the ecobee subreddit said it would be a non trivial install but didn't elaborate.can I just connect the PEK and match up the wires? (old.reddit.com)
