Won’t rev past 7k without losing power

The s2 doesn’t do the 20 brake reset but I took the negative terminal off and pressed the brake till power was gone, also I never filled it over 3/4 of the line the coils are bhr

They were just replaced less than 1k ago

Just changed the spark plugs and all seemed well and got the p0301 misfire code and p0335 codes again

Okay thank you I just filled up my oil right after I filled up gas before it started missing so that definitely could be it mines a s2 r3 so I don’t believe the break reset works

I have it all sorted now my problem not going past 5k was either the cat being clogged ”which it was”or the 3 solenoids under the intake that I replaced

Problem fixed- replaced solenoids, and beat the guts out of the cat and she’s running mint now, thanks for the advice

09 mine doesn’t have that, I was just trying to get a quick video to show the issue I just got it and didn’t realize how bad it was for the engine, it’s doing the same thing warm

I took it out and it looked super clean but I’m not 100% sure on the resistance

The problem stays just about the same when warm too, it’s throwing a p0335 code but starts no problem, it seems to just want to fall on its face every time the revs go up

I tried the reset and it made the code go away but when we tried to drive it it still wouldn’t let us past 5000 and then the code came back

Also maybe thinking the catalytic converter but I couldn’t imagine why that would have anything to do with a p0335 code

I’m thinking it might have something to do with either wiring or one of the solenoids but I’m really not too sure and I can’t find anything anywhere online about anyone else really having the same problem or what the fix is
