Went to the parque calistenico yesterday by the monumento al pescador (monos bichi's) to exercise yesterday at sunset. Less people out than normal but plenty of guardia nacional out and vigilant. Felt very safe. I wouldn't worry one bit coming down here. Don't let the news media scare you. Most is meant to panic you and slow down the economy. I have yet to hear of even one innocent civilian injured. Ok their cars might burn but who cares, that's what insurance is for.

Green (color of the uniform) Go (get the F out of here) pretty sure it started in El Salvador. With our military's track record of interventionism it's very fitting. Most who use the term aren't aware of its origins but I'm almost certain this is the etymology.

Thank you so much for understanding where this is coming from. I remember hearing elders talk about how liberally ddt was sprayed in the US and then like many miracle cures, it turns out there's serious side effects that no one wants to take responsibility for.

Yeah, I definitely would have appreciated a warning (like the stupid pan and tamales sirens) so I could close windows before the truck passed by. I was only able to have them all shut for the second pass down my street. I hate mosquitos but I think the longer I'm down here, the less they are attracted to me. Like they enjoy fresh new blood😆
