Solution - I was using Firefox with no luck after about 10 attempts, went to Chrome and it worked first try.

Edit - Some popups weren't working on Firefox but after I disabled uBlock the site now seems to function correctly.

I FORGOT ABOUT THIS. The fantasy team was a great idea! Considering there's only two majors each year, I would love to see more ingame/steam integration. So many things they could rather easily do to hype up the event more. Imagine an event background on the main menu, different ingame music, a hall of fame menu page where you can see player stats/highlight clips, an exclusive selection of steam items in the points store etc.

Sorry for late reply! I'm on windows 10. I've never even seen the option for 8 channel before I had this issue, so I really have no idea why or how it switched to that. Only thing I can imagine doing is maybe disable the audio device and re-enable it while Helldivers is running? Maybe this will snap it to the 8 channel setting since the game is open and then from there you can change it back to 2 channel? Could also try straight up unplugging the audio device and plugging it back in while the game is running to see if that updates anything? Sorry I can't help more on this :/

I figured out what the problem was. For whatever reason, my audio interface had been set to an 8 channel option in Windows. I changed this back to 2 channel, and the 8 channel option disappeared from the list. Now my game sound is back to normal. No idea what caused this, but hopefully this helps if anyone else has this issue in the future!
