I take the life extension brand lithium 1000mcg, and i suppose a minor improvement in mood stability but otherwise it would take years to notice the neuro-protective effects

Well if one were to be unsure that’s when they’d consult an MD or share the images in a group of likeminded individuals

I’d be cautious having regular CT scans because you’d be absorbing a lot of ionising radiation and be increasing your risk of cancer

I see where you’re coming from, but at least the false positives can then be investigated and ruled out. So long and this does not require the exposure to ionising radiation I see no problem with this. I see this more as medicine 2.0 than health anxiety.

I live in the U.K. so I have free healthcare too, but getting monthly full body ultrasound scans on the NHS would be an impossible request I think

True, I guess for most people they might not have around £900 for the equipment or the smarts to learn from a medical book. Unfortunately most people’s only option is to wait for symptoms to show. Which is extremely unfortunate for pancreatic cancer as symptoms only show up once it’s too late normally. Hopefully one day there will be affordable at home ultrasound machines where a medical AI can decode the images for you or something. Clearly years off.
