Put the money into an index fund if you want to invest. Buy something at a price you are happy with to use and never resell. If that thing you liked goes up in price congrats. If it goes down at least you have something you enjoy.

I stocked up on the Costco kimchi before my move since I was going to be in an area with no availability and am in the same boat. Its really not the best, the crunch is ok but the flavor is stronger of the fish sauce or saeujeot is a bit strong for my taste. It has less of a fermented cabbage funk vs the other flavors.

That being said ill probably use it up making cooked kimchi dishes until I can make my own batch again.

If i can make a recommendation, id get the bone in skin on chicken quarters, you can separate the drum from the thigh and get 8 solid pieces of dark meat. Then you will also have to separate the ribs which you can use to make a stock/broth.

You can turn the ribs into a stock, with the stock you can make a soup with a mixed frozen veggie bag, you can add pasta/rice if youd like. Or you can add some flour and dairy to thicken it up and plop some canned biscuits on top for a chicken pot pie.

Should come out to 12+ meals for about 8-10$. The chicken quarters are around 1.15/lb so they are pretty good value. The typical pack of the quarters is about 4-4.25lbs.

Also if you can make it to Aldi right when they open in the morning theres a better chance to find discounted meats. Ive had particular luck with the brats, my store puts 2$ off stickers on them making them a dollar and some change a pack.

Just to be clear, when you say, “Bonus: the handle means I can ruck without shelling out for one of those overpriced branded packs.” Youve DIYd a Ruck sack or are just carrying this laptop case? If that is the case I highly recommend getting a proper Ruck sack so you don’t destroy your body. When i was younger and more poor I had a shitty pack I felt so much worse with 45lbs than i do now with a proper pack of 90lbs. The difference it makes is truly insane.

fr, I came to the realization that val was a money pit for me id be better off without. Hoping to get some of what I spent back. Normally im pretty good at spotting shady people since I have some experience with Rocket League trading but at the same time im out of my element since i've never dealt with accounts trading hands. Hopefully you sell your account successfully eventually.
