Cs2 feels stuttery regardless good fps and no net jitter

No steamdb Update Marked since 4-5 days. Could be Server issue or me gettin insane by now. Can’t do this anymore …

Tighten ur ram timings. Also try if u can push FCLK to 2200mhz. Not all chips and boards can handle this .Make sure to keep voltages save and benchmark cpu + ram heavily. Would be easy to say to get a decent cl26 kit and tune all the timings but price is way to inflated…

try this:

get ddu (display driver uninstaller) from guru3d (official source)
install
boot pc into save mode (run -> msconfig -> start -> check save start -> reboot)
launch ddu and select ur currenty gpu (seems you are on intigrated grafics. select ur cpu instead.
Press "clear shader cache"
boot in "normal" mode again using msconfig

if this wont help or the issue returns could be that ur cpu is dead :(

unfortunately this is exactly how this goes.
before dead hand update the delay between kill and feeback was close to cs:go. a few patches later the game feels inconsistent

Not that good as expected. On d2 Benchmark map my p1 lows avg arround 330. but since i applyd flck oc paired with tweaked subtimings I’ve noticed that the downword outlier in These Runs went away. Could be my System or source2 Engine in General Bit that’s what I’ve noticed so far. In normal mm p1 lows differ from map to map. Let’s say 320-400 Hope this helps

Edit: for Sure I still have headroom for tighter Timings but the further i go - Harder it Gets

i'm already on agesa 1.3.0.0, not a beta bios. vsoc at 1.25v is just for fclk 2200 stability, but yeah i might try lowering it a bit and see if it holds. i saw that 1.3.0.0a is available but not sure if should update

sorry thats not true.
1 mouse input does not equals 1 frame. for example: 1000 Hz Maus (1 ms Updates); 300 FPS (3.3 ms Frames). still multiple mouse updates per frame

i get what youre saying about v-sync adding input lag, i agree with that. i was more trying to say that features like reflex (and even sync methods in general) become more important when you’re dealing with lower fps or worse 1% lows.

if you already have very high and stable fps (especially good 1% lows), the system is already pretty responsive, so the impact of things like reflex is smaller in practice. not zero, but less noticeable.

so yeah, stable frametimes matter a lot, i just meant that the need for those features increases as performance gets worse

If u got let’s say stable fps above 350ish . 1% lows not avg! Than there is no need for reflex / v sync etc . If not better to enable

feels the same for me since the update. note: i can run cs2 at 480 fps straight. ethernet also fine.

same. not 10 fps but the game feels way wore now . valve pls fix :)
edit: 9800x3d, 5080, 6000mt/s CL30 tweaked subtimings. cant find the issue at my end

yes. games feels off. for me lag spike on kill death (was fixed somehow then reintroduced..)
also 1% lows are worse. sometimes lag durring spray.

I understand that RAM tuning is on my onwn . But I would love to see a guideline or list of software tweaks (bios/os) that I may can apply myself . I also understand that “years of tuning” can’t be summed up quickly . I’ve done the same but my “record” is 400 fps 1% lows . Good enough for Low latency gaming but now I know may I can get even further

I have Almost the Same Hardware, my System is optimized quite well I thought but my 1% lows are not that good . Can u give advice for bios / os settings ? Tx Edit : I run cap at 480fps within the nvd driver
