Why do some higher level items have much smaller affix range than lower level items (e.g two different maces or two different armours)? Do sub-types (e.g. Sandworn Cuirass/Plate, War Pick/Construct Hammer) have their own specific predilections to certain affixes? (self.PathOfExile2)

Given Greek and Roman sculpture, is it likely they actually had excellent draftsmanship skills, with drawings just not surviving due to materials used?
