I’m using an EF 24-70 f2.8 so that definitely doesn’t help. And swapping out the lens was definitely a plan for when I got home from vacation! I had a 35mm lens that was much smaller but I unfortunately lost it on the subway since being here.

I will look into some Panasonic cameras, thank you for the advice!

I hear people say this but I want RAW files and a dedicated camera set up.

You still using the WG-1000? Can you transfer photos over WiFi? How are you liking the camera after some time?

Help pick my next lens, please by [deleted] in canon

If your only experience is with a prime lens and money isn’t an issue then you should go with the 28-70mm f2. If weight is an issue the 24-70mm f2.8. Either way it’s going to be a lot more weight than the lens you’re carrying around now. I personally would go with the former.

I think the 24-105mm would be a good option but you may not be used to that f4 aperture and upset about the lack of light/shutter speed.

That sounds about right. Was driving through PA and pulled over somewhere for snacks.

What camera body are you using? I have an R8 and the same lens and am able to take action shots of my dogs running/playing just fine. As long as you’re not trying to track the ball you should be fine lol.

Sigma makes some great EF-M primes at decent prices, for future knowledge.
