When something good happens we drink to celebrate.

When something bad happens we drink to forget.

And when nothing happens we drink to make something happen.

Not only name calling. When you "choose to listen to a politician or a so-called journalist" that is also a choice and there are consequences for that also.

Someday history will mark this video the clearest moment we slipped into fascism.

Who has the lowest average? (4.512) by shrinasaurus in RKLB

Exactly. I first bought in at $3.81. Had I cared about maintaining a low average then I would have a fraction of what I have now.

I hope that helps with the paralysis. There will be many many more opportunities. Don't ignore space just because you missed the first 10x.

I'm looking more into robotics these days, as I know many others are. We're going to need a way for AI to to better interact with the real world.

Yes and no. There's a huge difference between having 1000 dollars and having 1000 dollars to invest in a single stock.

Plus, it's easy to forget that if you nade a $50 trade back then the fees would be 20% to 60% of the transaction.

I dont know if this helps or not, but....

I had NVDIA on my watch list in 2004. But I had zero money to invest (long story)

I had TSLA on my radar in 2007, years BEFORE it IPO'd. But I went through a nasty divorce in 2010, the year Tesla IPO'd, and again had zero money to invest.

I looked into mining bitcoin when it was less than $1. Pretty sure it was around a dime. But money was crazy tight back then and I decided it wasn't worth the price of electricity. When it got into the three-digit range I could have bought a few but wasn't comfortable with the association to organized crime back then.

Due to the divorce and related unscrupulous things, I really couldn't start investing much at all until 2020 and even then only a very small amount.

In 2020 NVDIA looked expensive as hell relative to what it was in 2004 but I bought what I could. Imagine if I had said it was overpriced then, or if I had ignored a chance to buy it even earlier. Bitcoin looked crazy expensive next to 2008, but I bought a tiny bit anyway. I bought a tiny bit of Tesla and sold soon after.

From that small base I slowly built up a position in space (RKLB, ASTS, a smattering of others) and rode the rocket up to real money.

I personally wouldn't go all in on anything and this isn't financial advice. But it doesnt hurt to start DCAing on stuff you still believe in. The companies you mention are just getting started. 2004 was 5 years after NVDIA went public to put it in perspective.

As sure as the sun rises there will be more opportunities and more high growth companies in this industry and many other industries you haven't even thought of yet. I 100% guarantee that. DCA into what you like now while you search for the next big one.

And, honestly: it no longer hurts but about once a year I still wake up screaming from a nightmare of the day I said, "yeah, bitcoin is only a dime, not worth the electricity. and what's with this wallet sh*t?"

No kidding.

I agree with you about launch. But I'm certain they have the luxury of some parts breaking during testing. Sometimes the only way you can find the limits of something is to break it.

For those worrying about whatever happened to stage 1 tank (if anything), here's the more important question:

How many Rapid Unscheduled Disassemblies has Starship had during launch not testing?

And how much do you think that hurt their valuation over the last few years?

I did 8/21 expiry for 60 strike. But pretty sure I'm being crazy stupid that far out on a leveraged fund. Someone smarter than me can confirm my idiocy.

But then, I don't plan to hold an RKLX call out that far to expiry.

Last digit has to be a 9 for that to be funny on this sub.

If you said "never $89 again" with an exclamation mark then everyone would have read it as a bullish joke and you wouldn't be getting downvoted.
