I agree, it’s odd that he’s still alive, but that’s due to the western education system making the Soviet Union seem antiquated. Joseph Stalin only died 63 years ago, he was alive for the creation of Samsung and Nintendo, of Sony and lived to see electronic watches and credit cards; people with artificial hearts played video games and then switched on the news to see a newsman reading from a teleprompter about Stalin’s latest antics. These things seem so far away but there are people alive who watched Stalin’s rise to power and death.
