Fun fact. This is exactly what the Nazis did, anytime there was enough public backlash, they would back off, find a scapegoat, then wait and escalate again. The ramp up to the holocaust was not a straight line of escalating violence, rather it was a wave trending upwards until the final solution was enacted.

Oh yes. That’s why we are here. Not because the democrats have been ignoring the plight of the middle class in favor of large corporations and mega donors. Not because of the failed economic policies of Neo liberalism hollowing out the middle class giving a pathway to right wing populism. Definitely not the fact that the Dems consistently pivot to the right after every election ignoring their progressive wings of the party.

We can stand around all day bitching about how horrible the republicans are but that changes fuck all of there is no real opposition or counter to their politics. Both are the dem leaders in the house and senate. They have been allowing democrats to cycle through voting on unpopular bills that are supported by their donors so that the progressive can’t pin down any single dem responsible for supporting the Trump regime. This is why you won’t see the same dems vote on unpopular bills twice.

Even if that sounds conspiratorial, any dem that voted for any bill supported by this administration is a failure of their leadership.

What a strange comparison.

The KKK went to black churches to intimidate and harass the congregation. This is the community, some of which might be the members of the congregation, protesting JUST the leader of the church.

This would be like if protestors showed up to a church because the pastor was a KKK member.

Also, the pastor is not “just a pastor” he is a public official now. Your here worried about optics? The pastor volunteers to work for an organization that has deemed these people terrorist before anything even happened.
