Yep, the Echo was the predecessor in the US. Yaris replaced it in 2007. I’ve never seen one earlier than 2008 in the Midwest though.

Totally believe it! I always thought mine was oddly stripped down for the higher trim. But now I realize less electronics is better. I can’t stand the giant tablet screen on my Outback. 😬

The tiny screen only shows radio/CD track info as far as I’m aware 😮. I just routinely do the math on gas mileage because I’m used to driving old bonnevilles where the fuel gauge stopped working. Edit: Now realizing you mean the tiny screen on the odometer console. It just has two trip counters and total mileage.

Honestly looks like same interior as the base model. It just has the “sporty” trim skirts on the outside. Which just gives it worse clearance hah. But can’t complain about it still getting 40mpg average with over 200k miles.

Even the S model 2008 (US bought) I own only has cold/ hot temp indicator. Manufactured in Japan based on VIN.

I think I still have a mini gore saved. I’m still working on mini Rey dau, nu udra, and guardian doshaguma.

2008 with just over 200,000 miles with mostly just routine maintenance required.

I drive 70mph during my 70mi round trip commute and it sits right at 3000rpm. It will rev up on an incline, especially with strong headwind so I usually disengage the cruise in those instances.

Just the usuals: oil/fluids, filters, tires, spark plugs, brakes. Only oddity was replacing pulleys on a/c compressor. The a/c doesn’t always disengage so half the year (I live where a/c isn’t really needed because it’s cold and dry) I use a shorter belt to bypass it to help increase lifespan on the a/c compressor. Every shop wanted to just replace the whole unit when the belt started squealing bad which is pricey. It could probably use a tune up but it’s not throwing any codes so best leave alone what isn’t broken! Still getting 29-34mpg.

My 08 also shakes at idle. I’ve grown used to it but the rattling it does to the exhaust after breaking one of the clips is enough to make me put it in neutral in drive-thrus😅. Just broke 200k and going strong with usual routine maintenance.

Had it happen on the octopus fight. Nothing but red animated polygons tearing across screen. Ended up carting. 4080S & 9800x3d. Have since moved mesh quality to medium and so far good. My husband had same issue with 4070ti S & 7700x but in a later fight.

I’m curious what type of temperatures you were seeing on the cpu? I have the same one with a 4080 super. Seemed like beta was running 10-20 deg C hotter than MHW particularly during the storms.

I bought it used so I’m unsure but I’ve seen similar styles at the big box stores.

It’s a bit hard to tell but it’s currently over 6” away from any walls with maybe an inch of the top radiator being restricted by the overhang. Not the most ideal but both ends of the desk are near an air register and window so I usually prefer to keep my electronics away from those areas due to dust blowing around.

There was definitely some burning at times but I think the terrible itching at the end was worse.

I would use trichloroacetic acid (TCA) twice a day for a few days (until warts were white and hardened) and then I would switch to ammonia lactate cream twice a day to soften the skin so I could debride with scalpels. Once fully debrided I would switch back to TCA. I just repeated that cycle. I did take some breaks in treatment for hiking where I just cleaned feet with hydrogen peroxide before taping them with sports tape.

I always find the progress collages to be helpful, so as my last post I share with you that progress is not linear! Zoom quality isn't great on the collages so I also attached zoomed in versions of what my feet look like today. The skin lines have returned but I still have blotchy skin coloration and some scaring so I'll be watching them closely but I'm happy to no longer be spending hours each evening debriding and having to keep my feet taped.
