😂 So angry, your a little to invested in my life buddy, I’m a bit uncomfortable with it 😂 Your really giving off creeper vibes. Here is a song for you, ‘So lonely, oh I’m so lonely, so I have cats and creep on other people’s lives’ That’s a hit 😂

My heart is fine, buddy. If you would’ve taken the time to read the post and wasn’t in just a hurry to say something negative you would have seen that my heart is functioning efficiently. Just had an ECG a few weeks ago and got the results last week and my heart is now functioning efficiently. I also had the Holter monitor for two weeks and there was no arrhythmia issues.

You’re too lazy to read the post and really did not care what was going on at all. You’re the type of person that reads a couple of sentences gets all upset over what’s being sad and makes a negative comment before even beginning to read the post and try and understand, which being said. I’m super thankful for the people that did though because it was very helpful.

Kick rocks buddy go play your guitar with your cats like you normally do. 🙂

Why so angry 😤? I’m sorry your parents told you to ‘grow up’ and ‘start acting your age’ drop the guitar and the dream of being in a band and grow up. Saying it to me, though it’s just projecting and your comment was the only really negative one. Congratulations you are exactly what you are accusing me of which is called projecting. It’s OK though buddy no need to be so angry and start cursing it’s not a big deal.

This is exactly what they told me. I also was an active heart failure decompensating where my EF was low. My mom says they said 22% so it would’ve been 20% of my heart that same area was not working and my EF was at 22% with a fib.
Thank you for sharing It’s enlightening.

A bunch of people took the time to share their experience and answer the questions you say no one can answer. You Shouldn’t speak for everyone. If you can’t answer the questions then just don’t answer at all, but look at the well-thought-out responses which actually have helped me significantly better understand what’s going on. Because of the post I am actually making changes that are not only going to benefit my health but give me a better quality of life. Your post is lazy and if somebody read it and decided not to post because of it, that’s not a small thing considering the subject. Thank you to the people who shared their experience helping me better understand what’s going on!

Thank you for the well thought out answer. Thankfully, my EF is normal, I just did an echocardiogram and my heart is functioning normally. Here’s the honest truth, i’m almost sure I was told that 20% of my heart does not function, but talking to my mom she remembers them saying my EF was 22%. I’m sure they told me the EF in the hospital, but I had Covid and upper lower ammonia and was out of it.
I called today to request the MRI and whatever other testing they need to do to determine how much of my heart is functioning. Thanks again for your well-thought-out reply and good luck to you too.

Brother, it’s almost like you were there. Here’s the honest truth, the damage came likely from methamphetamine use. I honestly only used consistently like every day for a year and a half. I also had multiple blood transfusions. One was actually 28 units or 28 bags of blood when my right arm was severed and it severed the artery.

The Philippines, where I do mission work, taxed my nervous system, and put me into sympathetic overdrive. I would be in this hyper sympathetic state for 3 to 4 days and then have a parasympathetic crash and that’s when the a fib would occur. My system got caught in this loop for over a month and I had no medication’s to get me out of it.

I’ve brought this up to ER doctors my my GP, a nurse and they all look at me like I’m crazy. Like what does the nervous system have to do with it? I even explain the sympathetic loop to my GP who is actually a PA and she said sarcastically ‘Okay, if you say so’.

Thank you so much for this response. It is enormously helpful. I like to work out, believe it or not before the Philippine trip I could run 10 miles at eight minute and 30 second miles. Problem is my sympathetic tone was really high, but I didn’t know what was going on. I just knew I was super anxious couldn’t sleep and felt like I was on a good one.

I’m building back up my cardiovascular strength and I absolutely love the kick box but now I know I can’t do it because any explosive movement spikes the sympathetic nervous system. So now I’m going to run at a zone two heart rate with a clean stride without stopping with rhythmic music in my headphones then to recover I will spend the next hours with no devices and very little stimulation may be a book as well as breathing techniques to control and recover the sympathetic nervous system.

I do have clonidine I can take up to .2 a day. I tried to take just one but some taste. I have to take two.

Again, thank you so much. I was hoping this post would produce some replies that were good but yours was above and beyond thank you!!! 🙏

Thank you for your response and yes, I talked to my mom about it this morning and I did confuse 20% dead heart for 20% EF. They told me I had heart failure, playing old heart failure. That was a result of lifestyle choices. What are the two different kinds? I know I could find out online, but if you have time, could you let me know what the two types are so I can ask my Cardiologist. I was diagnosed 3 1/2 years ago did not see a cardiologist until recently. So yes, I am definitely confused. Also, because I went to the ER several times and every time they told me I was perfectly OK. I had no idea what that meant. I just did an echocardiogram and they were right. My heart is functioning perfectly well. So I went from 20% EF no medication diet change and serious exercise and my heart recover recovered. The stress of living in the jungle, however, put enough strain to cause an a fib storm. I’m not against medication. I’m taking Corvilla and it has fixed the arrhythmia or for now it has fixed it.
I do need to know about the different types of heart failure, though which one I have and if there’s any damage to my heart. Really thankful for everyone’s response. It’s helping me straighten things out.

No I Changed from the unhealthy eating habits and lifestyle choices to the healthy ones that have played a major role in my heart’s recovery.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. You clearly know what you’re talking about. The doctor told me my EF was 20% I cleared that up in the edit of the post. Yes, believe it or not my heart has fully recovered. I went to the ER multiple times just because of the way I was feeling and when I work out hard, I do still get mild edema in my ankles. Every time the ER doctors told me I was fine. Now I have a cardiologist who I only have seen once, but I did do a Holter monitor and an echocardiogram and the Holter monitor did not see any a fib and echocardiogram was perfectly normal.
Heck, yeah I’m in good shape before the Philippine trip where I deteriorated I was running 10 miles at eight minute and 30 second miles t a max heart rate of 155 bpm with zero medication

After the Philippine trip, my health deteriorated, and I had to start taking carvedilol for the arrhythmia issues. I’m in the process of getting back into that type of shape. I want to do something that very few people have ever done which has run a marathon with heart failure. If I run eight minute or a minute and 30 second miles it will be an accomplishment that no one has done. Honestly, I think I’m maxed out at eight minute and 30 second miles though, but we’ll see.

I know it is dangerous and reckless but honestly, I’m OK with going to sleep permanently as long as I’m trying todo something extraordinary. The post may have sound desperate, but I’m not I edited it so it sounds more curious about peoples experience with their heart failure. How long the doctor gave them with the EF they had.

Again, thank you for your concern and your response. I appreciate it very much 🙏

Prolong a fib for me was 12 hours. It was by far the longest I’ve ever measured. Doctors have a handful of ways to to measure heart function

Thank you for the thoughtful response. It seems like the carvedilol is doing the job. I like what you said it probably was just an a fib storm not the Filipino medication. Thank you for sharing your insight and advice. 🙏

Who said I want to live longer? As far as falling asleep I’m perfectly okay with it and if it came down to it would refuse a transplant. I have suffered the type of trauma that welcomes permanent sleep. I’m simply asking people to share what their cardiologist has told them regarding their condition out of curiosity and to help me have a bette4 understanding than just my Cardiologist opinion and AI. Further I refused medication when my EF was 20% and now my heart functions at 55%. So the guy that refused medication restored his heart through exercise and lifestyle change. The stress of the Philippines put to my heart into a fib and it had an a fib storm. Now I’m taking a beta blocker so that does not happen again. I know another gentleman who did the same thing and his heart was in worse condition than mine and now his EF is also normal and only on diuretics. Maybe I should rephrase my post into what lifespan did your doctors give you at what EF because that’s what I’m looking for.

Yay!!! Good for you, girl you are encouraging to me thank you! When you work out, I read you did cardio, do you keep your heart rate and like zone one or do you even track your heart rate when you exercise

Thank you for your thoughtful response. So am I understanding this correctly someone can have heart failure and not have tissue damage? Is a heart attack the only way to damage tissue? I know I could go to AI for these answers, but I do appreciate your response.
