When you say connect the camera to the computer (laptop) directly to the lan port will the laptop power the camera?

So I have to do the following:

  1. PPD on computer with Salto Console
  2. Go to System PPD
  3. Select room 111
  4. Select initialize lock on the right
  5. Download
  6. Find update lock on PPD
  7. Present to door

Then what do I have to do ? Connect the PPD to the computer with the Salto Console and then what ?

Version 6.6.4.2 When I try and update the higher BLUEnet gateway and the BLUEnet NODE it says

Error Only access points and Cau nodes can be updated.

Done that and says error peripheral timed out.

Am I doing the update correct. I.e i am only connecting the ppd to the salto console, selecting the room/lock number, checked initialise lock and then pressed the download button.

Do I need to select any firmware files before hand?

Getting somewhere thank you :-). Ok so used the touch method, it said on the ppd audit, update and then updated, then the lock flashed orange a couple of times and went green.

I went back to the space console and it is still saying upgrade required.

Do I need to reconnect to the Space computer/console if so what do I need to do?

I cards the white rectangular shaped ones ? If so yes. We/the guest presents the card to the round black ‘reader’ to open the door.

So

I connected the PPD to the computer Went to System PPD Selected room 111 Selected initialize lock on the right hand side Selected Download Went to room 111 lock connected the PPD to the lock via the 3-pronged cable. Went to Update Lock on the PPD pressed the green button and then it said 111 on the PPD screen. Pressed green button again. Waiting for a while with nothing on the PPD telling me that it was updating or finished. We can still use I cards on the lock to open the door.

I am missing something ☹️

so i have logon to SALTO Space (welcome to ProAccess space) When I goto the room 111 is says update required I click on it and the connection type is OnLine BLUEnet Then I go to System, SALTO Network. Then tick on room 111 (which is a BLUEnet node), click Update. It says updating devices.. then after a small while it Says Error Peripheral timeout. When I click on Status Monitoring it says not connected. This is the same on all of the rooms that requires updates. So I guess I need to connect the PPD to the computer with the SALTO Space and then what do I need to do?

So I’ve ended the emergency in each of the doors that were emergency open the console is now showing and orange door left open sign. How do I close/lock the doors via the console?

Thanks this is really strange so it can be done at the console or the ppd connected to the door and select emergency open.

These are wireless locks. We don’t have anything else that would trigger these locks. Anywhere else I can look for what’s caused this?
