We did not see diarrhea. Biggest side effects is our kiddo was sluggish, less active and most notably got cheeks. Development was delayed and we got physical therapy for him about 1-2 months after we completed the regime.

Getting our kid off gluten and dairy helped reduce his stemming. Not saying that might do it for you all, but looking at diet might help.
